It has been a month since auditions and it was the first day on set. I am so excited to see it. I tried to sneak in a couple times but they wouldn't let me. I am so nervous, I am going to have a TV show. This is all I could have ever dreamed of. I walk into my dressing room and get ready for the first shoot ever. I walk out of my dressing room and go towards my set. I open the door and I saw my set. It was everything that I had hoped for. In the corner it had a spiral stair case that lead to nowhere, it had a red couch in the middle of it, it led into a kitchen. I loved it. I say hi to everyone on crew. I sat in my director seat and call everyone to get in their places. Parker walks in and she sits on the couch, the guy that plays Joe, Jeffery, is standing wear the door is on the outside of the set.
"Action!" I scream and the scene starts.
"Hey, how was the job search?" Jeffery says as he sits next to Parker and wraps his arm around her.
"Same as every other day, stupid and not worth my time. I don't want to be a fry cook or a zookeeper, I want to design clothes."
"I know, but you have to help me pay rent and that means you need money."
"I had money."
"Until you pissed off your parents and they took that money away."
"Okay, I didn't think that they would react that way. I don't want to talk about this anymore. Can we please talk about something else. Let's talk about what we are going to eat tonight."
"If I give you money will you go to that burger place down the street and get some burgers?"
"But there is always a long line to get one."
Jeffery places his head on her shoulder and pouts.
"Please, I'm so tired from actually working today and not just watching Grey's Anatomy all day."
"Ugh, fine."
Parker gets up from the couch and walks to the door and puts on shoes, she walks back over to Jeffery and kisses him.
"I'll be back in thirty minutes."
"Bye babe, love you!"
She walks out the door and Jeffery picks up his phone and acts like he is calling someone.
"Hey, yeah, come over."
He pauses as if someone is talking from the other end.
"No, she's not home. I sent her out to get dinner. She shouldn't be home for another thirty minutes."
End of the scene.
"Cut!" I scream and everyone relaxes for a second. We run that scene a couple of more times to get just the perfect shot.
I walk over to Jeffery and high five him.
"That was great! Now get ready for the next scene. This is the scene that Beth comes home and she sees my shoes on the ground and she walks up to your room and she sees us doing a scene from an audition that Joe has that week. I need you to be surprised and scared that she walks in and sees you and me about to kiss."
He nods his head and walks across the warehouse to the bedroom set.
My assistant director calls to everyone to get in position. I walk to the bed and sit down next to him.
"Action!"
From across the warehouse Amy walks in to the door and starts the scene.
"Hey, they were closed so I hope you are fine with pizza."
