Life Changes

Chapter 6

Today is going to be a fun episode to shoot. This is the episode where Beth and Sam hang out. I walk into my dressing room and see Parker without a shirt on. I stop and drop my phone that was in my hand. She turns around and freezes.

"Uh, hey."

That is all that could come out of my mouth. She smiles and grabs a shirt.

"Hey, they, um, ran out of room for actors and props and stuff so I thought it would be okay to share a room."

I pick up my phone and close the door.

"Oh, yeah, that is totally okay."

I walk over to my mirror and set my stuff down. I walk over to my rack and see what I was supposed to wear today. I change my pants and take off my shirt. I hear something behind me and I turn around. Parker was on the floor picking up ice and putting it back in her cup. I walk over and help her pick up the ice. She looks up at me.

"You should finish getting dressed."

I smiled and get up. I take my shirt and put it on. I sit in my make-up chair and wait for Amy to get here.

"Hey, do you want to hang out tonight? I had a lot of fun last time and I thought we could do it again."

"Yeah, I had a lot of fun last time too. You want to go back to the bar?"

She shakes her head.

"No, I don't want you to have to drag me to your place again. How about we do it at my place. I have a bottle of Scotch that needs to be drank."

I smile, "It's a date."

I heard a knock on the door and Amy pokes her head in. She walks over to me and kisses me.

"Hey babe, ready for me to make you pretty?"

"All you are doing is making my night rountine longer."

"Hush, the artist is thinking."

"About what? All you do is put mascara and blush on me."

She puts her finger one my mouth.

"Shh, I have to concentrate."

I make a face and she starts.

I walk onto set and get in my position.

"Action!"

I knock on the door and wait. I hear footsteps walk up to the door. It swings open and I see Parker's smiling face.

"Come in!"

I walk in and sit on the couch.

"So, what fun activities do you have planned for us?"

She laughs and walks into the kitchen.

"Activities? Are you five?"

"And a half."

She walks in with a bottle of  "vodka" and two cups. She sets one of the cups down in front of me.

"Vodka? I'm liking this activity."

She laughs and pours "vodka" into both of the cups. I grab one and take a sip.
