I quickly looked around as the voice faded away. Fixing my flashlight, i continued to walk through the mansion. Cobwebs everywhere like something you would see in a movie. At this point i was thinking i should have brought a police officer for protection just in case.
I walked into another room which seemed like a baby's room. I never knew she had any children, it wasn't in the file given to me. I shined the light on a couple of dolls, a rocking chair, and a crib. I could have sworn i saw something inside of it. Taking a closer look, my heart nearly jumped out of my chest.
Instead was an infant baby. Still wrapped in its blanket laying in the middle of the big crib. Its body was so decomposed. I covered my mouth and wrote this down in my journal.
Out of all my years of being a detective I've never seen anything like this.
