" You don't need to come into work today. I have a business meeting." my boss said on the phone. I was beyond happy considering the fact i haven't had a day off in months. Finally some time to spend with the kids and my wife.
"Shouldn't you be getting ready for work?" Samantha asked standing in the doorway in her nightrobe.
"Nah, today is my day off. Boss said he doesn't need me." i said grinning.
"Finally!" she said wrapping her arms around my waist, kissing me.
"Mmhmm. But not right now, i gotta make lunch for Marcus." she said smirking.
She disappeared around the hall, leaving me sprawled out across our king sized bed. I haven't gotten a break from work in a really long time. So, i honestly didn't know what to do. I could already tell this was gonna be boring. I couldn't do any more research because Sam hates when i do that. I try not to put my work in front of my family.
I walked down the hallway to check on the kids. Kennedy was walking out the door by the time i came downstairs and Caden was getting ready to whine. Samantha spoiled him so much that he cries whenever we put him down. I picked him up and carried him into the living room where Sam was fixing Marcia's hair. Marcus was already waiting by the door.
When she was done, Marcia ran outside to catch up with Marcus to go to the bus stop.
