Chapter 7

I awoke this morning with even fonder memories of the night before. Matthew was killed and honestly he deserved it. Most likely he was lying about the Prince role. Waffle had claimed the same thing to me and attacked me. And now both of them are dead. It makes sense if you really think about it. Someone must have heard that both Matthew and Waffle both claimed Prince. Figuring out that one of them must have been lying the Revolutionary killed them both in the hopes that one must be a role that opposes them that's worth hiding.

So through this stupidity Matthew deserved to die. At least Waffle played it smart. She tried to eliminate me for some unknown reason but didn't end up finishing me off. So decided that laying in the safety of my lone bed was too boring and uneventful for me I left my room that provided me with the comfort of home to face the outside world.

But when I left I was met with the onslaught of shouting and yelling.

"YOU'RE THE ONE THAT KILLED HIM!!"

"Me!? Why would I do it!?"

The two people that were yelling at each other of course was Kanye and Will. It seems their alliance has been torn into two.

"You knew his role! It wasn't me so it had to be you!" Will yelled towards Kanye. Kanye's face turned into one of anger and frustration like a provoked lion.

"Me!? But why would I kill me because of his role!?"

"The Prince goes against the Revolutionary's winning conditions!" Will yelled back.

"We were friends! Why would I just backstab him like that!?" Kanye yelled. Will looked at him and pure tears formed within his eyes.

"Friends? Don't talk to me about friends" Will turned his back towards Kanye and walked towards B Block.

I was about to chase after Will when I felt someone tug on my shirt. I turned around and saw Claire behind me. She had this look in her eyes telling me 'Don't bother, it's not worth it'

I sighed and turned towards Claire.

"Fine, I won't go after him" I stated. Her face brightened up a bit at my response.

"Hey Mal I wanna apologize for snapping yesterday..." Claire said looking a bit down.

"Don't worry about it! It was a personal topic and I was stepping on it" I replied.

"I-I guess that's true..." Claire said awkwardly. She looked around as if scanning the room for anything to distract herself with. Things were becoming awkward fast.

That stupid bear. One day I swear I'll kill the person behind it. Forcing us to play this stupid game.

"I-I should get going Mal" Claire said to me. She quickly turned around and ran back to her room. I followed her example and walked back to my room of solitude.

[1:30 PM Mal Matsuda's Room, A Block]

When I arrived once again the tablet in my was blinking at me. The light flashing as if it was calling for me.

Only three options this time. An alliance in pieces. I'm on good terms with everyone but Will. So it seems I'll have to try my best to calm him down.

4:30 Pm Kanye Nakahara - Claire Nashi

I chose Will and everyone else chose Claire. This should prove to be interesting. What should I do with Claire's meeting? I still don't know her role but she seems to trust me at least now. That's a good sign. Claire is mostly reserved so that means I'm gonna have to try even harder to convince her to tell me. I guess I should prepare for my fateful meeting with Will.

[3:00 Pm Mal Matsuda's Room]

Will walked in shortly after he was due to arrive. It's weird how everyone arrives on time for secret meetings. But he still arrived anyway. His face was one of distress and unease, did he perhaps not trust me? It would make sense, two of us are already dead and one of the remaining four are behind the deaths.

"What do you need?" He asked straight up. Guess he wasn't the nervous type.

"Why do you suspect Kanye as the revolutionary?" I asked.

"We both knew Matthew's role as the <<Prince>> and it would be in the best interest of them to kill him. So therefore me and Kanye are the main suspects in killing him, I wasn't the one who did it so Kanye must have"

"What if it was by pure chance? What if the revolutionary picked him by random?" I lied.

"Then wouldn't that make you or Claire the revolutionary?" Will replied. The atmosphere suddenly changed. Could he be suspecting me of being the revolutionary?

"I-I swear I'm not-"

"Say all you want, I'm out" Will turned and left my room leaving me shocked and confused. Here I was trying to calm him down yet he turns the table on me and get's me worried. What the hell? Damnit! What the hell is up with him!? Here I try to be nice and he puts me in a corner!?

I decided it would be best to try and stay in my room till night finally arrived.
