I huff ruining the silence but neither one of us said anything as we see the still dark road be shined by her headlights.

'How sad, that life and growth are based on tears and blind are left to lead the blind or fall behind to depths of despair. That have no ending. Anywhere'

All of that was in my head on repeat, it was the last thing anyone had said before I left in the earliness of the morning with just a wool knitted sweater and tight black pants that suffocated my legs.

I remember being greeted by her at my window sill I dragged myself to the window, opening it and being faced with white dyed hair that showed in the golden street lights that were still on and bright hazel eyes I started to wake up knowing it was her.

Her could be anyone but we all knew who it was I was that "lucky" female as Astrid was the white hair and bright hazel eyes but I was fully awake when the next thing I remember I was in a standard red car somewhere downtown of Hollywood.

Now Astrid was completely gorgeous but that didn't make her who she was, Astrid was so well-Known that no one knew her. Confused?. Who isn't, I believe that people knew Astrid by voice but not looks. Everyone knew about her stories like how she was a dancer on a five star T.V show or how she was stranded on a island but dolphins saved her, I can't say what's real but they seem Astrid real.

It felt like a movie scene the windows were up so we could hear each others calm breathes that were in sync but not enough as old 90's music was played on the radio quietly, I continued to stare out the front window nothing fascinating was in view until specks of white snow started to fall.

We rarely had snow at downtown Hollywood so for some reason I felt special.

I look down at my dead phone for maybe a minute but I guess I was wrong as the car stopped moving since it parked I didn't waste any time as I was taking off my seatbelt and getting out the car, slamming the door louder than I thought.

I walked closer and closer to the edge of the bridge till I wan leaning over the railing seeing all the bright shining lights of Hollywood in one view, the buildings were still black here because of the night but the lights that could blind a human had the darknesses back, they were flashlights leading the way for the buildings.

"And blind are left to lead the blind"

I heard a deep but feminine voice behind me that could only belong to her, so I finished the rest but mainly mumbled it.

"Or fall behind to depths of despair that have no ending"

All I want to know is what I said, what did I mean?.

"It's fake... All of it"

"What is"

I turn to see Astrid staring ahead at Hollywood in lights just like I was before.

"Whatever your thinking."

"You different"

Astrid finally glances at me since the whole ride, she doesn't smile but her eyes are bright.

"I don't try"

"Why are we here"

Astrid sighs before turning around and starting to walk to her side of the car which has the door open.

"Decided to give you a break, maybe even let you run while you can"

She laughs before shutting the door when she enters the car and starts it.

'Not a lot of fresh air for her' I thought turning around fully 'Chance it run? Run from what?' I thought again not taking the opportunity and instead walk to her.

"Nothing is chasing me is there? So why run?"

I said before entering the car and taking a deep breathe before shutting the door again.
