Why Me?

(Y/n's pov)

"WHAT?!" I exclaimed as i found out that my mother intended to sell me to a damn vampire like what the hell?!
I am so done with this family!

"But it's what's best for you and our family, please y/n..." she pleaded with me but there was no way that I would change my mind.

"But why me?! Misty is older than me why can't you sell her?!" I shouted out frustrated by the situation at hand.

"Because she helps y/n,she helps while you do nothing!" She screamed at the top of her lungs not noticing when her own tears started falling.

At this point my tears were basically flowing down my face.
I didn't expect mom to be like this..
All of this was just painful....

When she noticed my tears she got up and tried to hold me "Y/n I'm sorry I didn't mea--"

But before she could hug me, i pushed her off "no don't touch me,you're not my 'real' mother anyway" i said backing away from her slightly.

She looked up at me with a shocked expression.

I chuckled bitterly "did you think that I wouldn't notice?"

"N-no I thought that by not telling you I could protect you from getting hurt" she said her bottom lip quivering and her voice cracking at the end.

"Well the only thing you did was make it worse!" I spat then ran to the door running out and slamming it behind me.

You ran even though you could hear her crying and screaming for you to come back...you just ran and didn't look back.

"Well that was a great way to start my day" notice the sarcasm.

After awhile of running I slowed down seeing as the sun was setting and it was getting dark..

I soon got the feeling that I was being watched but I shrugged it off as being a 'cat' or something.
I heard a few leaves crunching behind me and looked up to check my surroundings.

"Knock.. knock.." his voice was deep and he sounded quite familiar to you..

"W-who's there!?" you asked scared because your vision wasn't 100% and judging by his silhouette he was big and his body was well built.

Wait is that who I think it is??

"Alien" and with that one word all my fears disappeared I knew exactly who that was.

Yep it's definitely him..

"TAE TAE!!" You spun around with your arms wide open and a beaming grin on your face.

" Y/N!!" He did the same while tackling you into a tight hug..



Him and his perfect smile almost made forget everything that happened today... Almost, he was my first and only friend... the only one that didn't treat me like a monster or an outcast...

Ah I love his smile.. It's so cute! But his eyes had a hint of sadness in them....why is that? I'll be sure to ask him later.

" Tae what are you doing here? And are you okay? Have you been crying?!" I asked him in a worried tone of voice as I saw his tear stained face, he looked as if he could break at any moment...

"Your mom called and asked if you were with me.. She told me that you ran away.. And I went s-searching for you, b-but i couldn't find y-you and I-i didn't want you to get h-hurt." he said with his voice cracking at the end and biting his lip to prevent his sobs from coming out.
