"Be mine. Forever."

The words weighed heavily in my mind. After leaving his room, I indulge myself in a long, hot shower. My body still tingled wherever he touched. And whenever I closed my eyes, I could picture him, his blue eyes holding a heated gaze that is enough to melt through my soul.

My wolf whimpered inside my head.

It yearned to be claimed.

I picked out a turtle neck blouse to hide his bite which was still reddish and sore. After dressing up, I decided to hide in the library.

The smell of books and age old papers didn't help me relax at all. My nerves were still on edge. My thoughts running rampant in my head.

I snatched the mating book that Tasha had once told me to read.

Realization dawned on me, like bricks falling on my head.

The claiming shouldn't be possible! No! Not when our bond was Master and Slave. But the passion was too overwhelming for it not to be. Our wolves communicated, they were the ones who first agreed.

I closed my eyes tightly, disbelief and incredulity flooded my senses.

He told me the bond has been named. But he didn't told me what it was and I had assumed the name of the bond to be that of Master and Slaves. I deluded myself that the sexual tension between us didn't count when it was a dead giveaway on what our bond had turned out to.

I paged through the mating book and stopped in one of its page.

Lovers.

Only lovers could feel the call of claiming, and if heeded will eventually lead to mating.

When did I start to like him that way? It couldn't have been spontaneous. I hated him with all I had. When was it exactly? When did I look past his stoic and cold front?

I groaned feeling pathetic.

I paged through the pages until I saw 'The Claiming' printed in bold, black letters.

The sexual illustration made me flush crimson. I quickly flipped the page over and started skimming the contents of the section.

Claiming can only be triggered with a Lovers bond. Once started, the male and female would both feel attracted towards each other more so than before which has a high probability of ending with mating. Before mating, both male and female needs to agree with the claiming and the male to bite the female. The primal ritual of mating is then triggered when they indulge in sexual intercourse. To end the ritual, they must swore their love to each other under the full moon and the female to also brandish her lover with her bite mark. Only then can the bond evolve to mates.

It must be remembered though that without the agreement of both parties, even though the ritual is done in order, the Claiming will not take effect.

I feel weak all of a sudden.

How could something like this happen?
