Please listen to we (too) shall rest
           By Olafur Arnalds while reading.

It's been weeks sense yoongi left on his flight and I've been passing the time with absolutely nothing. Each day feels longer and longer, not knowing when he will come home. I fill my head with endless books all day and long messages from yoongi each night. He calls when he can but lately he's been very occupied with his work that he tends to cut our conversations short. With Christmas flying around the corner, I'm starting to think he won't be here for the occasion. To think I'd be spending it alone didn't really cross my mind till now.

I'm very confident that I'm the best at sleeping in but on all the wrong days. As I'm running, terribly late to open the store, I slip on ice and proceed to fall letting everything fling out of my hands. Just before I'm about to meet the ground I'm caught from behind. "That was close, are you okay?" I regain my balance and turn around to see a very tall man with a big smile. "Oh yeah I'm fine. It could have been worse so thanks." I then bend down and start to pick up all my scattered belongings. "Here let me help." The man starts picking up as many thing as he can and handing them to me. "Thank you." I say standing up. "No problem at all, my name is Andrew by the way." Andrew reaches out his hand for me to take. "(Y/n)." I shake his hand and he nodes with his big smile. "Nice to meet you (y/n). You don't happen to know when the book store opens do you?" "Actually l own it, got here late that's all." I walk to the door and open it letting Andrew in with me. "Oh that's convenient then." As I walk to the desk I ask "is there something I can help you with." He steps more inside and takes a good look around, letting his surroundings sink in. "A job possibly." He gives me a shrugged smirk and continues to look around. Considering that I have never had any other help around here and how often I'm left with much to do, it'd be nice to have someone around here. "Well sure! Your hired." I say. "Really? When do I start." I throw him an empty box to soon be filled and grab one for myself. "Now."

They day goes by the same but with a new addition to the dusty space. Andrew and I pack up old books and begin to open new ones. Andrew tells me that he needed the second job to help with rent and that he thought this place would be perfect. I tell him about how I started and so on. Old books and many cardboard cuts later we were out for lunch. The bitter cold got worse as we walked down the street on he hunt for warmth and food. We finally settle for a small dinner down the road. The dinner was cute, it had a jute box and cute colors all over to match. We seat ourselves and look over the menu.

"Have you lived here long?" Andrew asks. "I'd say so ,I've been here for 5 years." "Well it's nice to find someone that can help me around, I've only been here for a month. Everything here is extremely new." "Yeah it can take some time to get used to but you'll get it in no time." Andrew and I order our meals and progress further in the conversation with ease. "What are your plans for Christmas, I'm thinking of just sleeping in all day haha." His question sunk in making me drift right to yoongi. I really miss him.

Apparently I lingered off to long and in result Andrew starts waving in my face for my attention. "Is it confidential or did you leave earth for a second?" I snap my head up and blink quickly while rubbing my eyes a bit. "Oh no I'm not doing anything that I know of." "Really you seem like someone who would." "I just don't have plans this year." Andrew suddenly looked up with a smile and his brown hair slightly hanging over is forehead. "We should do something together! We both are free so why not?!" "Oh no it's okay I'll probably just sleep too." I say. I can't just spend Christmas with him and not yoongi. It wouldn't feel right. "If you says so."

Days flew by with help from Andrew. He talks a lot but his company is nice. It's now Christmas Eve and it's almost like the sky knows when to perfectly start to snow even more. I wake up ready to go open shop and have my morning call with yoongi. I jump up the curb to the store with excitement. I love getting to hear his voice, especially in the mornings. I open the door and as if time new, my phone rang. "Hey babe." His voice was groggy but happy. "Hey, hows all that music stuff going." "It's good it's good, I've made big progress with them. I think it's going to me amazing when finished."

Our conformation turned into I love you and I miss yous like always until I had to ask. "So.. Christmas." "I want to be there. So bad, but i can't, There's just so much to do. I'm sorry baby." My heart didn't even drop, I already new the answer to that. "It's okay, now worries." We ended the conversation soon after and I got to work. Andrew came by later that day to help sell. We worked in random thing but in the end there wasn't that much to do on Christmas Eve. "Hey (y/n)?" Andrew called. He poked his head around a shelf. "You sure your not doing anything in Christmas?" "Yes positive." "Okay okay." Andrew had been acting strange today and it started to make me wonder why.

"Hey I think I'm going to close shop early today." I say while grabbing the keys and my coat. "Wait! No I'll close it up for you." "Um are you sure? There are a lot of locks and there kind old so-" "it's just locking a door and turning a sign I think I got it." Andrew cut me off and put his hand out for the keys. "Alright, I'll see you later, don't forget the last lock it kinda funky so-" "haha jeez (y/n) I got this don't worry, really." I leave him be and go home still somehow hoping Santa was real and he'd bring me my present. Yoongi.

My eyes opened slowly and sting from the cold air in my room. Freshly fallen snow law outside ready for people to frolic around in. Grabbing my sweater I check my phone for any messages. None, not even from yoongi. Sleeping, I thought. He's probably still sleeping. I make myself some breakfast and play the 100th rerun of the Christmas story.  As then beginning of the movie started again, the only message I had was from Snapchat telling me merry Christmas. I decided to call him myself.

Straight to voice mail. Why would his phone be off, or dead? He always had it charged and on. Setting my phone down i get ready to go for a walk just to do something. I walk down the street seeing hardly no one. Everyone is with family, children playing with new toys and trinkets. Some probably sleeping in together. Hour and a half and no call back. I kept telling myself not to let it get me but that started to slowly fail. I wanted to talk to him today of all days. Why won't he call back.

I get coffee and head home. I say out loud I'll just watch another run of the Christmas story but in my head I know I'll only be thinking of him. The day went painfully slow and all I did was sit around getting no messages or calls. I was in the process of making my candy Caine into a shiv when I get a text from Andrew saying he needed help at the store. Why the hell was he even there on Christmas night? With a huff I get ready to go and start to leave. The day was night and very quiet. Little lights strung loosely on tress and soft toons of last minute Christmas songs played in the distance.

I approach the store and see a small dim light inside. The door opens with not a single lock secured. "Andrew? What's wrong and why is the door unlocked?" My eyes froze on what I just saw. Candles and wine and Andrew. "Umm what's this.." "I thought maybe we could spend the last few hours of Christmas together." "Listen I have a boyfriend Andrew, this is just to much." "I know, but hey what he doesn't know won't kill him." "Andrew I just don't think-." He grabs my hand for me to come closer and pours me a drink. "Come on it's just one night together like this, and I don't see a boyfriend around." His hand was firmly still holding mine as he handed me the drink. "I need to go now." "No no stay." Andrew places a hand on my hip now Inches away from him. I wanted to Leave so badly, but little did I know it didn't look like that from outside looking in.

"No, your forcing me to be here and it's not right Andrew." I push my self away and free myself. I harshly put down the glass causing it to spill. I leave the mess and just start to walk away. "Your fired." I open the door to leave and walk outside. The cold air feels good on my skin and I start running my hands through my hair trying to calm down. Suddenly I hear movement in front of me.

Yoongi. He was standing right there, Looking at me in such a painful way. "What the fuck was that?" "Are you cheating on me?"
