A Teenage Love Story ( ON HOLD)

I lied in bed waiting for my alarm to go off and when it did, I quickly hit the shut off button. Tossing my covers off of me and jumping out of the bed, I went into my bathroom and hooked my I phone into my I pod dock. After scrolling through my music I put on the song called play it again. I loved the song, so as soon as it began to play, I started singing it.

I had a good voice but I was shy and never sang in front of anyone besides my brother and my best friend Carly. After I finished singing the song, I let my phone play as I jumped into the shower.

Twenty minutes went by when I finally decided to get out of the shower. Grabbing my robe and wrapping it around myself, I began to blow dry my hair and then grabbed my curling iron and started curling my hair. I wanted to look good just in case Nathan noticed me today.

Finishing my hair and makeup, I walked back into my room and glanced out the window. Seeing that today was going to be warn and sunny, I went over to my closet and put on my short blue jean skirt and paired it with my favorite off the shoulder black top. Since the weather was nice and I felt like dressing extra sexy, I grabbed my black heels. Taking one last look in the mirror, I grabbed my school bag and purse. Placing my phone in my purse I grabbed my car keys and went downstairs.

morning Jake" I said when I found my brother sitting at the kitchen table reading the newspaper.

"morning sis, how did you sleep last night" he asked me.

"I slept very well, thank you. I should get going. I need to pick up Carly before school" I told him as I grabbed my lunch.

"Okay be careful, love you" he said as I ran out of the kitchen.

"Love you too" I yelled back before shutting the front door behind me. My brother and I were very close. He took me in when our mother kicked me out at the age of 13,its been almost 3 years and she refuses to speak to us.

Twenty minutes later, I pulled into Carly's Driveway just as she ran out of the house.

"hey Girl, sleep well? " I asked her as I put the car in reverse and pulled onto the road.

I slept fine, you?" she asked smiling

" Good, so when will you finally tell Brody you like him " I asked her with a smirk.

"the same day you tell Nathan that you like him " she teased.

"ya, well that's never going to happen, He's the quarterback of the football team and point guard of the basketball team. Plus in case you forgot, he has all the cheerleaders around him and he is a senior so in September, he will be gone."

I pulled in to the school parking lot and found a spot, after I parked the car and grabbed my stuff from the back seat, we got out of the car. Together we walking into the school and headed to our homeroom. The teacher handed us our locker number and combos. Carly and I squealed when we found out our lockers were next to each other. When we left home room and went in search of our lockers, we realized that we were stuck between, Nathan and Brody. Grabbing our books for our next class, we turned around and overheard them talking about some big party Nathan was having tomorrow nigh.

" so you're inviting all the grade 10, 11 and 12 to this party?" Brody asked him.

"yeah man, It will be awesome, plus I'm inviting all of the hot girls in this school" Nathan said smirking.

"Hell yeah man, cant wait" Brody yelled and high fived Nathan before heading to his locker. Carly and I didn't hang around much longer after that and went to our class

they are such pig " She said disgusted with them.

"yeah they are" I said hurt that Nathan didn't even notice me. When we got to class the teacher, came in and assigned a seating plan. " Okay class, There are five desks. Desk one will have Nathan, Brody, Carly and Haley. Second desk will seat Hanna, Brittany, Carter and Vince. Third desk I want Mikayla, Vanessa, Logan and Austin. Kelly, Zack, Jessica and Justin will be seated at the fourth desk. Michael, Brandon, Destiny and Amber I want you seated at the fifth desk in the back. Now please go to your assigned seats " she said and we all went to our seats

"once everyone was seated, the teacher started her lesson" "Okay class, each group will have a project to work on together, this is a great way to get to know your classmates" she said. Knowing that was partnered with Nathan and Carly was paired with Brody I began to wonder if I will be able to keep my feelings inside and when the bell finally rang, I jumped up frpm me seat. "project is due in a week see you all tomorrow" the teacher said as everyone began to filed out of the room. I went to my next class which was dance the teacher went over what was we would be learning this semester. Before, I knew it the bell rang and I went to my locker. When I got there Nathan was there I walked over. "Haley right " He asked me smiling and I blushed. "yes" I said shortly, I was too afraid that my voice would give me away. " i'm having a party tonight you and you friend should come by." he told me and flashed me his gorgeous smile. " sure, ill ask her " "ok, well hope to see you there" he said and walked away. Putting my books away, I went to find Carly. "you will never believe what just happened!! Nathan invited us to his party tonight" I yelled with excitement. "are you going to go "she asked "I don't know, are you going to go?" I asked her, hoping that she will. "well of course, but we need to go shopping first" she said and we ran out to my car, excited to see what tonight will bring
