Today was my meeting i got ready and drove there when i go there i go in
"can i help you "one of the guys say
"ya im looking cheif granson "
"right this way " he leads me there and i go in i sit down
"so my wife tells me you wanna be a fire fighter "
"yes sir i do "

"all my life i have been doing things other people want me to i wanna do this for myelf i know its not easy but i will prove to you just how loyal i am "
'you graduate school when"
"next week" ok you start your fire fighting classes saturday see you then mr james "
i walk out and drive to haleys i knock on the door she anwsers wearing her pjs her hair in a messy bun and no make up her eyes are swollen and red it's looks like she has been crying all night
"you look beautiful "i smile
"nahtan what are you doing here " she says
"i came to say i dont want any other girl i want you i invited you to my party to get to know you which didnt work out so well but now i do "i know that when your thinking hard you bite the inside of your mouth i know that when your sad or upset your quite i know when im with you i cant stop smiling and i know that my daughter absoulty adores you just like i do and i know that right now all i wanna do is kiss you" i lean in and kiss her pulling her closer to me she wraps her arms around my neck i bite her lip asking for entrace she opens it we move to the couch i lay down with her making out with her we make out for a good hour we stop i smile at her
"haley christiansen will you be my girlfriend "
I sat there for a few minutes not saying anything he was getting a worried look on his face i smile and kiss him"nahtan i want to but you grad in a week and then your probaly going to some far college and long distance does not work"
"im not going anywhere im staying right here im becoming a fireman "he says
"a fire man hey that sounds hot how often do i get to see you in your uniform " i smirk

"yes" i smile and kiss him
" let's go I want you to meet my parents" hey says
"Nathan I look like I just rolled outta bed "
"I'll wait well you get ready but honestly I think you look great "
"Okay " I go upstairs and brush my hair striaghtend it put some make up on and then my skinny jeans and my off the shoulder top with my ballet flats
I go back down " is this okay enough to wear "
"It's perfect " he smiles "let's go "

We get in my car and drive I looked over and see her looking out the window
"It's gonna be okay Haley they will love you "I park the car and get out letting her out we walk to my door just be yourself I kiss her and then open the door Kiera comes running "haey "
"Hey Kiera how are you "
"Me good "
We walk into the kitchen " hi mom hi dad this is Haley my girlfriend"
My mom almost dropped the cup she was cleaning my dad chocked on his milk
"Hi sweetie nice to meet you " she smiles

"Daddy Kiera says "can haey stay for dinner"
I look at her " sure I can " she smiles
We eat dinner once we finsh Haley asks were the bathroom i lead her there
"I know what your going in there to do Haley but you don't have to becasue you are the prettiest girl and there is nothing I would want you to change "
She had tears in her eyes I kissed her and then left it was really up to her what she wanted to do
I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror then at the toilet I turned off the light and went back downstairs I'm heading to the kitchen when I hear
"Nathan honey are you sure your ready to move on " his mom says
"I am mom I'm always gonna love and miss leah but I can't just sit around and not learn to love someone again and Kiera loves her "
"Okay honey she seems like a great girl"
" ya she does son I'm glad you two met"
I go sit down on the cocuch
"Everything okay " Nathan says
"Everything is great " I smile
"Any certain time you have to be home"
"No I can stay here if you want " I smile at him
" i don't know I don't want your brother getting mad at you" he says
"Ya I guess your right " I look down and say it a little hurt
"Haey will you come out me to bed "
"Sure honey " I get up and go up to her room and tuck her in
