"Nathan james to the office please" i walked to the office when i go there the princpal was all ready waiting
'Mr james it seems your failing some classes " he looks down at the file then back up at me "it seems your failing math english and history
"so what are my options then "i look at him
"either you repeat grade 12 or you find someone who is in these classes with you and ask for there help i know your a bright student also if you dont pass the history test you are not allowed to play the basketball
"Alright Mr Micheals "i get up and walk outts the princapls office bumping into somone "sorry
I look and see Hayle she doesn't look at me "hey hows it going"
"um fine"
"can i ask you a favour please "
"i guess so "
"Im failing almost all my classes and i know you tutor kids on the side i was wondering if you can tutor me "
"Im sorry Nathan but i cant "
"why"
"because I'm busy with other stuff sorry ill find you someone else"
"no your the best tutor please "
" fine"
"ok cool come to my place at 4 "
haley pov
school ends for the day i go to Nathan's and knock on the door "just a second " he comes and answer in just his basketball shorts "come in " i come in an a girl comes out wearing his shirt "bye you" she kisses him they make out i clear my throat she glares and me and leaves
"glad you came"
"don't lets just get this done so i can go home "
"whats your issue"
"nothing here is a practice test do it then ill mark it and see where you went wrong "
he takes it and works on it about an half hour later he hands me it i take it and mark it
"your doing the work right just the answers aren't right" i show him how to do it
"Oh"
Just then Kiera runs threw the door "your here " she smiles
"Yeah but I have to go "
"why"
"i have stuff i have to do "
"please stay and play with me we never got to finish tea party"
"sweetie i wish i could but i really have to go "
"ok daddy can you play"
"id love to princess but i'm going out uncle Brody is gonna watch you"
"okay"she goes to her room
"what are your plans " he asks me
"movie with Carly what are yours "
"cant tell"
"mmm ok well you have fun with whatever your doing "

"no nathan i am fine i have to go " i grab my stuff and leave i get in my car and drive to carly's i get there and text her i am here she comes out and gets in the car "how was tutoring" alright i guess we get to the movie and go get our tickets hats when i see Nathan with some girl i'm at the concession stand when he comes over "hey there hales" he puts his arm around me
1.don't call me hales and 2 get you arm off me" i glare at him
"what is your issue what did i do "
"you did nothing at all why don't you go be with your date and leave me alone "
"are you still coming over tomorrow to help me"
"yeah i will be but thats it have a good night "
Nathtan pov
The movie ends i go home Brody is sitting there watching tv "so how was your date"
"it was good saw haley there tried to make conversion but she wont talk to me i really messed up bad when i said our kiss was a mistake"
"was it though"
"no but i cant get involved with her she isn't gonna wanna play the mother role to Kiera and i know i will fuck it up some how because that just what i do i tired to have a relationship with chloe couple months after leah died and i ended up cheating on her "
"but you didn't like chloe like you like Hayle i would just talk to her tomorrow unlike me you still have a chance with the girl you like i fucked up badly with what i did to Carly
"did you try and talk to Carly about what she saw "
"no she wont even talk to me honestly man i would tell Hayle before some other guy gets her and you completely lose her "
" Can you watch kiera well i go then"
"sure"
I pull out my phone and call her she doesn't answer i text her " hey its me can you meet me at the coffee shop i need to talk to you "
Haley pov
Im getting outta the shower when my phone buzzes i see a text from Nathan i read it "cant it wait till tomorrow i'm really tired and just gotta outta the shower" couple seconds later my phone buzzes again "not really " he replies "ok ill meet you there in 15 minutes " i put on my yoga pants and a sweater and throw my hair up in a messy bun grab my keys phone and wallet and go downstairs "going out be back in a bit" i get in my car and drive there i get there and see him already sitting there i go sit down "so whats so important i had to come meet you here at 12:30 at night
He looks at me and is about to say something but a girl comes over "Nathan long time no see " some blonde girl says well hugging him "Im just gonna go" i get up and start to walk away "look emily i know its been along time but i really need to talk with Hayle which is the girl leaving right now i promise me and you will catch up later" "ok good luck" "thanks" Im walking to my car "Haley wait please " What Nathan i am tired so why don't you go back to that blonde and talk to her seems like you two know each other really well " well i do know her thats Brody's sister anyways not the point i called you to come here because when i said the kiss was a mistake it wasn't i just don't do relationship well ever since leah i had a girlfriend a few months after she died i ended up cheating on her and as much as i wanna be with you i know some how and some way i will fuck it up"
I look at him "Nathan i like you have for along time now but i cant just be friends with you its to hard specially watching you with all those girls" "they mean nothing to me there just random hook ups you are what i want let me take you on a date tomorrow show you i'm not the guys with those girls " "Nathan i don't think i can i'm sorry" "its fine i get it i guess ill see you tomorrow for tourting "ya see you tomorrow " i start walking again i see some girl at my car "Haley right " ya you are emily right" "ya look i overheard you conversation with Nathan look i have known him for along time now and yeah when he lost leah he was upset went down a bad road but i talk to my brother every night and he tells me Nathan wont shut up about you maybe give him a chance" "ok i guess i can" i text him "hey look so i was kinda a bitch back there i would love to go on a date with you tomorrow " within seconds my phone buzzes " alright ill pick you up at noon dress comfy and then bring some casual/dressy clothes see you then :) i get home and go lay down "ok sounds good see you then good night Nathan" i put my phone on my night stand and go to sleep
