∞DAY 4∞

Settling In

It's official. Isobel Fox is a devil incarnate—and I knew that the moment she only replied a malicious smile after I tried to alter her mind about us sharing her living quarters.

It's not that I'm acting like an A class primadona or something, but I'd rather be paying rent like any other person-than abuse the kindness the Fox's has been showing me so far. That, and I'm kind of dreading the troubles little devil is gonna land me in.

Jusme.

I closed the last of my suitcases—I had two medium ones. Bell and Tita Dolores should be here any moment now... I crossed the distance from the couch to the bed.

"Isaac ga, I'm going out for the day ha? Bell asked me to move in with her at her apartment near this hospital. Which is kind of unnecessary now that I think about it—since I'll still be sleeping here every night. Anyways, it's nice to have some place to crash in anytime so... bahala na siguro? But your mum will be here to accompany you though. So don't miss me too much ha? I'll be back later." I said while unconsciously touching the strands of his soft hair.

I heard a couple of knocks before the door opened and in goes Bell and her mother, both carrying grocery bags.

"Hi Friday!" Bell greeted before trotting her way over to her twin, bending over and kissing his forehead. "And hi to you too twinnie!"

How cute.

"So Friday, you ready?" Tita Dolores asked me all of a sudden.

"Ah, yeah... there wasn't a lot to pack anyways. But I left a few of my things—clothes and other necessities for emergency purposes." I replied in which she nodded in agreement.

After a few exchanged words and reminders, Bell and I made our way to her apartment which is a five minute drive away from the hospital—traffic, parking and all.

"So yeah, I already asked the receptionist for a spare key since I kind of lost mine a few weeks ago." Bell droned in as we trudged our way to the elevator.

As we stepped in, Bell instantly pressed the close and number ten buttons simultaneously. I was listening to her explaining her rules about living together which is fine by me. I also heard her telling me about... what was it again? Ah yes, the spare key.

The elevator dinged signaling our arrival at the floor we were supposed to be residing in. I followed her as she sauntered her way over to the door a few steps across the elevator. It was technically the first residence right after the elevator. Well, that and the one across it.

As she opened the door, I was greeted by yet again another lavishly designed room—a bit minimalistic, but it still gave off the homey feel which was surprising.

"So the rooms are upstairs, yours is the left one. I already had it decorated and such though... but if something's not to your liking then don't hesitate to tell me ok? And oh, each room has its own en suite bathroom and walk-in closet—so feel free to reign over what you want to do with it. Anyways, I have to bring you to the closest supermarket later to buy some necessities and such, and it would be a good time for us to bond too." Bell ranted incessantly-to which I only answered with either a nod or a frown.

"I'm quite confused with this. Is this really your apartment? It seems like a whole house to me!" I told her with complete hand gestures.

She chuckled before answering, "This is my condo unit, silly!" I nodded, all clear to me now.
