Point of View: First Person
As much as I want this day or week to productive, I seem to not like the idea of actually doing something that will benefit my well being. Well, not until I got dragged into a mission with some random 1st Ranking Assassin. Don't get me wrong, however, I do not look down upon the lower ranks just because I'm a Master Assassin. I'm not like Mr. Altair, who is an ass.
"So, what's the plan?" (Insert Name Here) asks.
"What?! I was following you! I thought you had the plan!" I reply.
"Ugh, it doesn't matter now, or the Templars will surely get a hold of our heads," (Name Here) says.
"Fine, okay, here's the plan," I say rolling my eyes.
I start to explain said plan to him/her. (I didn't want to choose the gender of the character, so the decision is up to the reader.) He/She seems to understand it well, and we move to our positions. I wait until he/she gives the signal, and I proceed to take out the guards positioned by the entrance. We both go in and hide yet again.
We wait a few minutes before going to where our target was. Crap. He's surrounded with those assholes who call themselves guards. I give the signal to go, and we move closer. Man, waiting for a target is really stressful. Decades seem to pass until I give the signal to take out the guards. With the utmost stealth and preciseness, we both successfully dispose of the assholes.
"Now, we wait for the target to go to a secluded area," I instruct.
"Alright," (Name Here) replies.
Leaving the conversation at that, we go back into hiding and wait. Said target enters a room and we follow. If you were wondering who this target was, his name is Nathaniel, and he is an Assassin turned Templar. (Sound familiar?)
We go into the room and hide. He seems to be aware of our presence. He looks around extremely and opens his mouth to say something but closes it anyways. (Name Here) whispers something, but my lazy brain couldn't quite get what he/she was saying.
"I know you're there. Show yourself!" Nathaniel shouts pulling a knife out.
"We're here, yes. However, have you an idea of where we are?" I reply.
"Show yourself!" he screams.
(Name Here) looks at me for the go signal, and I shake my head in response. We both wait and watch Nathaniel most probably lose his mind. He paces around the room and murmurs something inaudible over and over again. I grab something random and throw it down as a distraction. Nathaniel takes notice of said item and looks over in the direction said item was thrown.
I nod the (Name Here), and we both jump down. I sneakily go up to Nathaniel and bring out my hidden blade. I mutter something in his ear before swiftly stabbing him with the blade. He falls to the ground, and (Name Here) and I start running towards the exit.
Once we reach the exit, we are drowned in darkness. We try to make our way to our horses, but something stood in the way. I could hear the faint sound a blade being taken out, so I ready mine. Within seconds, a blade was in front of my face, and (Name Here) had his blade out as well.
"Who are you?" mysterious attacker asks.
"Why should I answer that question?" I reply.
"Because I asked you," attacker asks inching the knife closer.
"Look, I'm trying my absolute best to be polite to you, but if that knife comes any closer to me, I will tear you apart," I say slowly drawing my blade.
"We'll see about that,"attacker says.
I grab the attacker's arm and take his blade. (Name Here) seemed to have backed off and let me handle this. I swing a punch at the attacker's stomach and send him tumbling backwards. I hold the blade up to his face and pull out a smirk.
"So, still don't believe me, Altair?" I say smirking.
"How do you know my name?" he asks.
"Well, we see each other everyday. Probably in a relationship, and I know your voice," I answer.
"Y/N?" he finally says.
"Good guess. Now get up, we have to get out of here before guards come running in," I say.
Even with the darkness shrouding us, I see a slight nod coming from Altair. He gets up, and all three of us start running towards our horses. We mount said horses and start our short journey to our little Assassin Village.
--About a Week Later--
I sit on my bed and stare into the never ending landscape of mountains. My mind goes to where ever you can imagine, and I didn't even notice Altair come in. When I finally notice, said intruder has his arms wrapped around me. I roll my eyes ad decide to give in to the hug.
"Why are you here, Altair?" I ask.
"Well, I wanted to apologize," he answers.
"For what?" I reply.
"For last week, when I held the knife at you," he says sheepishly. "Sorry."
"Altair, that was a week ago. I forgave you already. Don't feel like you need to come and apologize," I reply with a smile.
He looks at me and continues to hug me. I decide to hug him back until he lets go. He sits beside me, and we both stare at the landscape. I lean on his shoulder as I feel my eyes slowly closing. I have no idea what happened next, but all I know was I fell asleep on Altair's shoulder.

So, I finally updated this oneshot book. Okay, if I may ask who do you want a oneshot with? It can be a Templar, Assassin, or a side character. Just comment who you want it to be with.
