"Bye sweetie, I'm going to miss you so much!" My mom cried as she squeezed me a little too tight.
"I'll miss you, too..." I noticed a tear in the corner of my eye. I blinked it away quickly. "But don't worry, I'll come visit you guys..." I looked at my dad and my brothers, who were standing next to mom. I went up and gave them all hugs.
My parents and I are really close. I wasn't like most teenagers who couldn't wait to move out of their parents house.
We said our final goodbyes and I got in my car, smiled and waved at my family one last time before driving to the air port.
Its about an hour and 45 minute flight, so I picked up a new book in the gift shop at the airport so I could read it on the way there.
I already want to go home....
