The first things i notice, are the swords hanging on the wall. It means we're going to the armory.

Why would my mother take me to the armory at this hour? I ask myself.

My mother is full of secrets, that is one thing i know for sure. her beautiful blond hair falls in braid on her back, slightly swaying from left to right.

Before she can knock on the door  that leads to the armry i say "Why have you taken me to the armory?" She looks at me with a small smile. "Just wait and you'll see."

She knocks on the door of  the armory. From the inside you can hear a gruff voice say "Come in."

Mother opens the door and the smell of iron immediately hits in my face.

My uncle stands all alone in the room, still wearing his armor. His iron breastplate reflects in the light.

His auburn curly hair seems even brighter in the firelight, and his eyes light up wgen he sees me.

"Caty, Melza what are you doing here?" He lays down the knife he was holding.

"What do you think Pete?" Mother answers wearing a grin. "Did you already forget that she turned 16 last week?"

His eyebrows rise. "Are you alreasy showing her? Most Baskin's waited a while." He puts his hands on his hips.

"What is she going to show me?" I ask while crossing my arms.

"You'll see." He says and smirks.

I roll my eyes, hating that answer.

"Melza, could you light a candle please?" Mother says walking to the other side of the room.

I go to the table, grab a candle and light it with a lucifer.

I walk over to my mother, and stand opposite of her. My uncle looks at us with his arms folded.

"Well this is it" Mother says putting her hand on the wall.

"A wall?" I ask raising my eyebrows.

"No it is not the wall, it is whats beyond it." She pushes at the wall with both her hands and the wall moves backwards, opening like a door.
