Worlds Apart

C H A P T E R 1

Hazel looked at her clock and seen the time, 7:00. She missed the bus for sure, but she could walk. She quickly got up, got dressed and combed out her already natural wavy hair. She applied her makeup quickly and then grabbed her backpack, running out the door. She walked quickly and swiftly, her legs burning slightly as they were stiff from walk so fast.

Then she heard a bell. The school bell that indicates you are late or on time. Right now Hazel was late and she needed to pick up the pace. Once Hazel made it to front of the school she accidentally bumped into someone, causing her to jump. She looked up to see the person she bumped into, but froze when she saw who it was, her eyes widening.

"Sorry!" Sam said quickly, picking up the things he dropped.

Hazel watched him closely, blinking a couple time to see if this was real.

"My name is Samuel Witwicky. Again sorry I bumped into." Sam said introducing himself.

Hazel gulped, "I-Its ok..."

Sam looked at Hazel weirdly, wondering why she was so nervous around him. Then his eyes caught onto something that sparkled in the morning sunlight. He looked down at her necklace and his eyes widened. Hazel looked down to see what he was looking at, then quickly raced her hand to cover up her Autobot logo necklace. She looked back up at Sam panicking, seeing the surprised and shock on Sam's face.

"Where did you get that?" Sam asked, now his face turning serious.

Hazel tried to speak, but the words could not leave her mouth. Then she heard a car engine growl and she looked over, seeing the famous yellow comero with racing stripes. Hazel started t back away slowly, her eyes fixated on both Sam and the Comero known as Bumblebee.

She panicked as Sam stepped forward to grab her, so she quickly swung her backpack off and slammed it into Sam's gut. Sam grunted and when he was distracted by his own pain, Hazel ran. She didn't know where she was running, but she ran. Then the familiar sound of a car engine growled again and realized Bumblebee was following her.

She ran faster and soon she realized she was running by neighborhood house. She decided to go through their backyards and try to hide. She knew they would eventually find her, but she had to try.

She quickly went through the backyard of someone's house and saw they had a shed. She quickly went over to it, but mentally sweated as the shed was locked. She ran out of the backyard and ran down the alleyway, but the opposite direction, so she wouldn't run strait into Bumblebee. Then she heard multiple engines. Shit.

She looked to her side and see a Semi, Rescue Hummer, and GMC topkick truck. Double shit. Then they cornered her. Triple shit. Then two men hopped out of Ironhide vehicle mode. William Lennox and Robert Epps. She backed away as they came closer.

"Don't even think about running." Epps said sternly.

Hazel panicked and shook her head, "I am not a threat!"

Will scoffed, "Your coming with us."
