Everything was back to normal... Pretty much, except the fact, that everyone was training and getting ready for the upcoming war in three weeks. We gave the Ice Dragons a week to relax before the serious training started. It took out a lot of energy out of both me and Reina, because not only did we have to get ready and train, we also had to come up with a strategy. Suddenly an idea popped up in my mind. I turned to Reina, only to be greeted with a sight of  her sleeping on top of a bunch of papers.

"Reina..." I gently shook her. She moaned and uttered a small "no" under her breath. I laughed and shook her a little more.

"Reina, wake up, c'mon I've a perfect idea on how to defeat the Knights." After hearing this, she quickly shot up.

"What's the plan?" She asked, now wide awake.  I chuckled.

"The fight will be in the abandoned part of Tokyo, right?" I asked and she nodded. "So why don't we set up a lot of cameras so you can sit in Tres Spades and report where they are and where they are heading toward." She nodded, her eyes lighting up with hope.

"But how will I be able to warn you and the boys?" Reina asked.

"We will each have a small device in our ears, and they will be programmed so you can contact whichever Ice Dragon if you see someone coming towards them." I explained and she jumped into my lap almost tackling me and the chair to the ground. I laughed, returning the hug.

"We have to tell our men." Reina said excitedly.

"Okay, I'll call them into a meeting right now." I nodded and reached for my phone. But before I could call my men Reina snatched the phone out of my grasp.

"Wait." She said. "I have to get those devices first. I have a friend who can make us exactly what we need." I nodded and she excited the room to call her friend. I just sat back and waited.

I exited the room to call my friend Marian Auvrey. He was supposed to arrive to Tokyo tomorrow. I found his number and dialed it.

"Bonjour, Marian Auvrey. Comment puis-je t'aider?" Asked Marian.

"Bonjour to you too Marian." I replied.

"Reina, ma petite, how nice to hear from you! How can I help you?" He asked and I told him about our situation and he was pleased, that he could help.

"Oui bien sûr, ma petite, I will help. I'll call you when I have landed and we can arrange our meeting." Marian said.

"Of course, Marian, do that. Have a nice flight and I'll hear from you tomorrow."

"Oui, ma petite. Talk to you tomorrow."  And the phone call ended.

I walked back into the office and told Soryu what was going on. He listened and nodded, pleased. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me.

"Maybe we aren't so hopeless after all." I said, smiling, making Soryu chuckle.

"Maybe we aren't." He said, smiling as well.

"I love you." I whispered in his ear.

"You know what? I think I love you too." He teased and I slapped his chest.

After a while, Soryu got hungry, so I made him his favorite; omelets. We ate and went to bed and cuddled until we fell asleep.
