Chapter 16. Saving Hazel

Reina PoV

"What!?" I exclaimed, jumping out of my seat. "We have to save her! And the baby!"

"Calm down, both of you!" Soryu said, pulling me back.

"Fine, I'm calm, but what are we gonna do? How are we supposed to save her, when the Black Knights have her? I mean, they're ruthless, they won't talk this over, they're gonna kill all of us!" I exclaimed.

"They won't, if we give them what they want."

"And what is that?" Asked Eisuke, confused.

"Game." I answered. "We will give them one last battle." I answered with a cold face.

Time skip... Tres Spades Penthouse

"Okay, so this is how this is gonna be..." Soryu started, his underlings listening carefully. "We're not gonna attack, we're gonna try to talk this over. If they agree to our terms of releasing Hazel, we're gonna discuss the date of the battle. If they attack during the meeting, you all do everything to protect Hazel and Rei--"

"You do everything to protect Hazel, I can protect myself." I cut him off/correct him, while Soryu's men nervously look between Soryu and I.

"Reina, I just want to keep you safe! Why are you always so damn stubborn!''

"Because you always underestimate me, Soryu! Now, continue the damn meeting!" I command and sit back down: no time for fighting. Soryu sighed and continued:

"As I was saying: do everything in your power to protect Hazel. Die, but protect Hazel, understood?"

"Yes, boss." The men answered, still not understanding what happened just mere seconds ago.

No one ever questioned Soryu' decisions. Well, guess what, I'm not just anyone. I'm Reina Michaelson, and no man will ever tell me what to do!

Thank god, Soryu got over the fact, that I WILL fight, and no one will stop me! After we stopped discussing the plan, we drove to the HQ of the Ice Dragons, to get our guns and bulletproof vests.

Time skip... Knight's HQ

After we arrived the Knights were already waiting for us. They lead us down a hallway and opened the door, revealing a conference hall, where Alexander was waiting.

Good evening, gentlemen," he started speaking. "And miss Reina." He said, as if he had just noticed me. "What brings you here."

"We are here to propose a deal, in exchange for Hazel." I started speaking, knowing I looked a little more intimidating than Soryu.

"Well, then, let's start our meeting, shall we?" He smirked, and our meeting started.

After a while of discussing, we agreed about releasing Hazel and the date of our war. In a month.

"Bring her in." Alexander commanded and then the door opened and Hazel went in, accompanied by two of Alexanders underlings.

They removed her cuffs and she ran to us, falling into my arms.

"You came for me." She sobbed, obviously scared to death.

"So we have an agreement, then, Soryu? Mafia war in a month." Deal, Soryu agreed as they shook hands.

We went back to the car, and drove back to Tres Spades, where Eisuke was waiting. He ran over to us and grabbed Hazel into his arms, tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Shhh, it's all okay, I've got you." He chanted, while laying her down in their room.

"Don't worry Eis, we'll make them pay, I promise." I said, laying a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm going to call Luke, so we can check if the baby is okay."                                                 

I nodded, leaving the room and going straight to my and Soryu's bedroom.

I sat on the bed, with my head in my hands. I jumped, when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and stared into a pair of stormy grey eyes, that belonged to the love of my life. I hugged him as if my life depended on it, as if I would never want to let go.

"Everything will be okay, we'll get through this, I promise. I love you." Soryu whispered, pulling me closer and kissing my forehead. I cuddled closer to him and fell asleep.

Hey, loves, I'm so sorry, for not updating in soooooo long. It's just my grandfather died a few months ago and we were very close. We were not just grandfather/granddaughter we were best friends. So when he died, I just felt really depressed and had no motivation to write whatsoever. But today, I found some new motivation and I am back and ready to write some more bullshit.
