What Does Depression Mean to You?

This isn't a picture, or a challenge, or anything really. It's a question.

A question I'm asking everyone lately because I plan to write an informative piece and I plan to be factual so I want to know.

Actually it is kind of a challenge. I challenge you to speak up and speak out about serious topics like this, like rape, like abuse. About everything. That's your challenge.

But back to the task at hand, what does depression mean to you? How has it shown itself in your life? Has it at all? Why don't we talk about it? Why is such a serious topic still Taboo?

Just... please, please answer.
