Chapter 6

'We shouldn't discuss that right now, my dear.' My mom said with a soft voice. 'Why don't you think about your training? What do you except of it?'

She was just changing the subject. They still were the king and queen so I leaved it like that.

'I don't really know. I think that after that training that I'll be a real princess, ready to govern this country.'

'After the training you will, I'm sure of that.'

'And about the other subject, I'm leaving it like it is. You probably have a good reason to not tell me the truth and I hope that I'll know the truth soon.'

My mom nodded.

'You better go and spend some time with Drew and maybe meet his family.'

I nodded and walked away.

The rest of the day I spend with Drew and his family. We played a board game to know each other and his real parents are really friendly. At 10 pm I fell asleep on my bed.

'Your highness, time to wake up.' A servant said when she came in. It was too early to wake up, it was only 8 am. But when I opened my eyes, a wonderful smell came into my nose. I looked at the servant and I saw she had a plate with breakfast on it. Breakfast on bed? Awesome... I can get used to this life. Oh well, used to these mornings. She placed the plate on my lap when I sat up.

'Enjoy, your highness.'

'Thank you.' I said when I looked at her, it was Zoey. 'Oh Zoey, you again. Why don't you join this breakfast? This is way to much for me.'

'Oh no, princess. I can't do that. I should leave. Excuse me, your highness.' She said, bowed and left me alone in my room. I looked around and nobody was here. I hated to be alone but I started eating it all. There was a jar of orange juice and an empty glass for the orange juice. But that wasn't all, there was much more. More than I even could imagine.

When I finished the breakfast, someone knocked on my door.

'Come in.' I said with a loud voice. The door opened and again Zoey came in.

'It's time for your first lesson, your highness.' She putted a dress on the end of my bed. 'You have to wear this dress. If you're ready, please call my name. I'll be outside. Take your time, your highness.'

When she bowed and made attempt to leave the room, I called her name.

'Zoey?'

'Yes, your highness?' She said and turned around.

'Why do I always see you? Don't we have other servants?'

'We have, but every royal family member has a personal servant. I'm your personal servant. Drew's mom is the servant of your mother. My brother is the servant of your father.'

'Okay, thank you. You can leave.' I said with my princess voice. I felt sorry to sent her away, but I had to. This was life.

I stood up and took the dress on my arm and put it one. This time it was another dress, much shorter. But this one was also beautiful. I took some high heels, because I didn't had any other shoes. Sometimes I wished I could just wear my normal clothes, but then I look at me in the mirror and I change my mind.
