I Just Dont Understand

i dont understand why my mom married my step dad,john.He doesnt love my mom or me.Espcially me,i mainly have my face in a book but i try to make friends at my new school and my step dad hates it.He told me i dont deserve friends and i tried to tell my mom but she didnt lisen to me,she told me to stop imagining things.I am 11 years old but i turn 12 on January the twentyth. Its now January the fourth and i cant wait for my birthday but my step dad told me if i wasnt good enough he wouldnt give me anything.I told my mom and she told me she wasnt going to listen to my crap anymore.Then she told me that she was going to take me to a therapist.She told me i was imagining things too much and i was scaring her because she knew that john was a "good person".I doubt that.I just dont understand.
