I Just Dont Understand

Wondering

I was wondering about Jessie and why she was so nice.It was Tuesday.Its been three days since I first arrived here and I still didn't know much about this place.I just couldn't help but wonder because...its kinda all I had to do.I heard footsteps outside my door and ran up to the little window.Nothing....I was..confused? Had someone forgot something? Did someone notice me looking out the window and back away?A part of me didn't care but the other part just wanted to see someone.Anything.I walked back to the back of the small white room and sat down.I heard a noise,a weird noise.I looked at the door and saw a small marker rolling towards me.It came from...under the door?Once again I ran up to the little window and looked out.Nothing....again.I honestly was surprised and a little scared but at this point I didn't really care.I walked up the marker on the floor and picked it up.It was a cheap blue Sharpie.I looked all around the room.The plain white room.I wanted to draw every little thing that came to mind on the walls but I didn't want to get into any trouble or seem even more crazy.I looked at my left hand the looked at the marker in my right hand.I took the cap of the marker then lifted up my left index finger.I continued to draw a little happy face on my finger and smiled.The little face made me laugh.It was no where close to being even or straight because I was sleepy and kinda shaky.I put the cap back on the blue marker and put it in my pocket, hoping I wouldn't get in trouble for even having the marker on me.At the point, I was very tired.I walked back across the room and laid down on the cold hard floor.It wasn't anything compared to my bed but it was okay.The thought of home and mom made me feel worse....but finally I fell sound asleep, wondering about what would happen the next few days and if I would ever escape this horrible place that I dont belong in and never have.
