Before I start this I want to make it known that all of sf9 are the same age in this book lol

Once hyejin changed back into her school clothes after gym, she looked for inseong. She didn't know where the detention room was and hoped he would know. Once she spotted him hyejin ran up to him. He was talking with a guy that had chubby cheeks and a wide smile. She remembered that was the guy he was next to during break a few hours ago.

"Hi inseong" she stood in front of him with a big, opened mouth smile. Her hands on the straps of her backpack and chin looking up to the taller guy. Inseong felt as he could melt into a giant puddle right there. His heart ached at how cute she looked in that moment. (Find you an inseong)

"Hi hyejin! I'm jaeyoon!" The boy, now known as jaeyoon, spoke first. Hyejins smile grew and she bowed to jaeyoon. Hyejin turned her attention back to inseong suddenly feeling embarrassed by the question she is about to ask "Could you maybe walk with me to the detention room? I don't know where it is." Inseong smiled telling jaeyoon bye, grabbed hyejin by the hand and ran off down the hallway. Hyejin laughed with him and stood on her heels so they would stop. They both started walking together talking about random things. Like their favorite food, or the things on their bucket list.

The two entered a new hallway and slowed downll looking at the sight they saw in front of them. Chani had the girl from break pressed up against the lockers. Their faces so close about to kiss. That was until inseong cleared his throat. The pair turned and looked at inseong and hyejin. The girl looked down embarrassed while chani looked at inseong who had hyejin hiding behind him looking at the ground. Inseong noticed how hyejin acted like she didn't want to be there. he wondered why.

"Oh hey hyung" chani started scratching the back of his neck before walking towards the two leaving the girl alone, like she was nothing. He awkwardly smiled at hyejin who just looked back down.

Hyejin didn't know what to do at the moment. She had just met chani, she shouldn't be witnessing things like this. She didn't mean to be awkward.

"Who was that girl?" Inseong asked the younger. Chani looked behind her and saw that the person from earlier was now gone. He shrugged and said "just some girl" hyejin got slightly annoyed that he talked about a person he was about to kiss that way.

"What are you guys up to?" Chani asked them curiously. He looked over inseongs shoulders at hyejin to see her face but she only looked up slightly. "We have detention today remember?" Inseong told him and started walking away. Chani only sighed watching inseong grab hyejins hand and pull her down the hallway.

Hyejin looked out of it the rest of the walk to the room. Inseong wondered even more. What did she think of chani? Does she think that way about him? Wait what?

"Hyejin what's wrong? Are you okay?" Inseong asked her. Hyejin suddenly snapped out of it and her smile returned back to her face. "Yeah I'm fine don't worry" she smiled at him and walked into the detention classroom. Inseong quickly followed after her and they signed themselves in going to a seat in the back. (Hyejin chose the seat right next to the window) Hyejin thought this would be a good time to study since she didn't get to earlier. Inseong just watched her pull out her books and pens. He watched as she took out her round glasses and tied her hair into a low ponytail. He felt he could watch her all day. (I want an inseong pls) hyejin noticed inseong looking at her and raised an eyebrow. In response inseong just shrugged and looked to the front.

Hyejin couldn't focus. She couldnt get Chani off her mind. She was annoyed by the way he left that girl. But she was even more annoyed at herself for hiding behind inseong. She wasn't a shy person, so why was she acting like that?

Hyejin took off her glasses while looking out the window. The view was blurry but it was the schools track and soccer feild. Green grass and a light blue sky with clouds spread across it. She watched the kids play soccer. Watching the group of guys playfully push each other, not really focusing on the rules of the game. It made her smile to see friends play around. Hyejin cleared her mind, put back on her glasses and studied till detention ended.

Detention had ended. Hyejin and inseong were walking out together. Hyejin had left her hair in a low ponytail and didn't care enough to take off her glasses. She was freezing and rubbed her arms trying to create any type of heat. Of course inseong noticed.

"Here" inseong pulled his navy blue hoodie from his backpack and gave it to her. "Thanks inseongie" she gave him an open mouth smile and pulled it over her school uniform. Inseong could only smile at how cute she looked wearing his hoodie. It was oversized just a little bit, but not too much where it went past her skirt.

As they walked out of the school, hyejin noticed that the boys playing soccer, were inseongs group of freinds. Even chani and jaeyoon were there. Inseong waved at them and they waved back, telling him to come over there. Inseong looked back at hyejin and saw her looking past them.

"Jooheon! Kihyun!" She screamed and waved her arms around. Inseong looked towards the direction of her eyes. He saw two boys hanging out by the parking lot, about to leave.

Hyejin turned her attention back to inseong. Remembering she was wearing his jacket she started taking it off. "NO!" Inseong yelled a little too quickly "haha I mean you can just give it back to me tomorrow" inseong smiled at hyejin. Looking up at the dark clouds in the sky he looked back down at hyejin and pulled the hood over her head. Keeping his arms there he spoke "its about to rain, hurry home" hyejin felt her cheeks heat up as she told him bye and ran past inseongs freinds to Jooheon and Kihyun.

Chani watched the whole thing. In fact, everybody did. Even Jooheon and Kihyun. Everyone was shocked.

Once hyejin reached her friends they attacked her in a hug asking her a bunch of questions. She just told them "dont worry guys, inseong is just a friend, nothing more nothing less." The three started their way out of the school parking lot when it started raining.
