part 6

Hyejin woke up wanting to die. She could hardly breathe and her head hurt like crazy. Her eyes kept wanting to close and she got dizzy when she got out of bed. She was definitely sick. But she couldn't miss anymore days of school. If she missed one more she would have makeup hours.

Hyejin put on a mask and her hair in a low ponytail. She wore her glasses today to try and hide the bags under her eyes. She chugged some water with medicine before grabbing her backpack.

Her phone dinged receiving a message.

unknown: its chani :) r u riding the bus or walking today?

Hyejin felt like shit, so she gave a shit reply.

Hyejin: bus.

She walked outside wincing at the bright sunlight. Almost late to her bus she ran towards it. The sunlight hid behind the clouds and she took that time to feel the breeze. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. The wind blew and she could hear leaves scratching against the cement as they were dragged.

"What are you doing?" Chani spoke in a dead tone walking up next to her. "I almost didn't notice you with a mask on" he told her. She only nodded before the bus pulled up and they walked on in a comfortable silence. There weren't many people on the bus. Everyone their age would drive themselves to school. They sat next to each other, hyejin at a window seat. "Why are you wearing that mask anyways?" Chani asked

"I don't feel that good today" hyejin started "I think I have a little cold" chani looked at her with sympathy before patting his shoulder "lay on me and i will wake you when we arrive." Chani said.

Hyejin put in her headphones before laying on chanis surprisingly comfortable shoulder. Chani smiled to himself looking over her head out the window. The sun came out of the clouds and shined into hyejins face. Chani found himself blocking the sunlight from hyejins eyes. she was sick, she needed to sleep is what he told himself. Its not that big of a deal.

Once they reached the school, chani woke her up and they walked off the bus together. Once they entered the school hwiyoung came up from behind and each arm over chani and hyejin. "Hellooooooo" he dragged on and smiled ar the two.

The weight from hwiyoungs arm cause Hyejin to suddenly become weak and her steps faltered a little resulting in her almost falling. Hwiyoung caught her and gave her a confused face. Chani sighed and pulled a water out of his backpack. He opened the new water and drank some before grabbing the back of her head. He brought the water up to her lips and forced her to drink some. scaring hyejin she jumped back and the water spilt on hwiyoung. He yelped because it was cold and hyejin gasped laughing. Chani joined in while hwiyoung was screaming at him. Hwiyoung started chasing chani around the school.

Hyejin just laughed and kept walking to the spot jiho was supposed to be waiting. Hyejin frowned seeing that spot empty and pulled her phone out of her backpack.

Ji: don't wait up for me,, im chilling with kihyun :)

Oh well, She thought. Hyejin walked into the classroom and sat at her desk. Her headache started getting worse. She coughed and was shivering but that didn't stop her from falling asleep.

Inseong came in and saw the girl. Remembering chani told him that she was sick he walked up to her slowly and sat down, not wanting to wake the sleeping hyejin. He noticed her shivering. Taking off his jacket he put it around her shoulders watching her snuggle into it. He layed his head on his arm and faced her. Inseongs lips curled up as he watched her. He too eventually fell asleep. The two slept through an entire period. Hyejin woke up 2 minutes before class ended and noticed Inseongs jacket around her. She turned towards him and saw him sleeping soundly like she was seconds ago. She put his jacket around him. And looked for jiho. She wasn't in the classroom which surprised her. She turned around and asked the person in the seat behind her if she could take a picture of her noted so she could copy them during break.

Hyejins throat was dry and her nose of stuffy. She drank the rest of the water bottle that chani gave her right when the class ended. After each class ended students had 10 minutes to get stuff ready for the next class, use the bathroom and anything else they needed to do. Hyejin left the classroom and went to buy some coffee from the school store. She put her headphones in the walked to the side of the hallway putting one foot in front of the other. Once she reached the store she walked towards the back and looked for her coffee.

A loud group of boys including chani walked into the school store, joking around and pulling out all their money to see what they can buy.

Chani grabbed a water bottle and started walking towards the cashier to pay. he walked into someone falling on his butt with the other person in his lap. his eyes widened and looked into the other persons wide eyes. She was wearing a mask and glasses. It was hyejin. She quickly got up and picked up their stuff. He got up and she gave him his stuff. Hyejin pulled her headphones out of her ears and around her neck.

"Oh hyejin? Whats up?" Hwiyoung brought the two back to reality and she looked at him. He walked past the two and put the stuff on the counter so the cashier could scan it. Chani turned towards hyejin again giving her an eyesmile and took her coffee out of her hands. He set the coffee on the counter along with his stuff and Hwiyoung paid for it.

"Oh no guys! Its okay! I could have bought it myself!" Hyejin said kind of loudly, a cough following.

"naaah girl, don't mind it!" hwiyoung loudly and proudly told her. hyejin just smiled to took her coffee from the counter. she opened it and sipped it, savoring the taste. the three walked back to the classroom talking about random things. once chani and hwiyoung dropped hyejin off at her class, they ran to theirs with 1 minute left.

Hyejin walked into her classroom and saw inseong still sleeping. Jiho was still nowhere to be found. Hyejin sat in her seat careful not to wake the sleeping fox. once their teacher walked in and everyone sat down, hyejin pulled out her notebook and class begun

sorry I haven't posted in forever hehe
tbh I had half this chapter done when I posted the last chapter but I just never finished it.
Im also working on a few other books >:)
