I woke with an urge to take an AK and shoot my alarm clock to shut it off. Eventually I decided against the violent act of behavior and ended up hitting the Off button.

God I hate that thing.

After taking my shower, which was short lived due to the lack of warm water in my apartment, I pulled on my black skinny jeans which are ripped at the knees, my dark red T-shirt, and my leather jacket. I didn't really know what to do with my hair so after drying it, I threw on my red beanie. Walking into my room, I grabbed my bag and my phone and checked to see if I was missing anything. Assuring myself that I had everything I needed, I slipped on my black and white Chucks and started waking out the door.

Before I made it completely out of the door my phone chimed, alerting me that I had a new message.

Unknown: Hey

Unknown: This is Tanner from Biology class. Weis assigned us as partners and someone told me that we would have to do a lot of projects, so I figured it'd be smart to have your number.

Unknown: Y'know in case you get sick or whatever.

M: Ok. I guess I'll see you at school then.

Why does this feel weird?

Shrugging it off, I made my way out of the door locking it behind me. I started off towards the school, but was stopped when I saw Molly, Daniel, and Jamie in the car. I waved to them and smiled, remembering that they had Jamie's doctor appointment. After they waved back, I resumed my walk, put on my headphones, and blasted my music. (Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen to be exact).

The walk to school was nice because the sun finally started to shine.

This is the Minnesota weather I love.

The school was dark as usual when I got there. I usually get there around 6:30 when it opens because it gives me time to do work or read. I took my regular spot at the third table from the staircase and started pulling out my notebook. Suddenly I remembered that I never finished my History review from the night before.

UGGGGGGHHHHHHH. FIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNEEEEEE.

I reluctantly started working on my review and completed it rather quickly considering History was my worst subject. I took out my pencils and started sketching (or rather trying to sketch) a dragon. No matter what I tried, I could not get the shape of the head right. Frustrated, I put my drawing stuff away and decided to read for a little bit.

By this time, people had started to fill the lunchroom and I started getting annoyed at how loud the group of freshmen at the table next to me were being. I put my headphones on again blocking out everyone and put my book away because I can't listen to music and read at the same time. I checked the time and decided that I should probably head up to my 1st class of the day. English.

When I got there, the only people inside were Mr. Lehman (My English teacher) and two other kids that like to get there early just like me. I took my spot and took off my headphones, immediately hating the silence that replaced the music. I looked at the board where Mr. Lehman keeps the agenda of the week, and terror filled every part of my body when I read what we were going to be doing for the rest of the quarter... Speeches.

Wait. WHAT!? When did this happen? He didn't have this up here yesterday. Why speeches of all things?

I hate speeches... with a PASSION. Every time we have to do speeches, I always freak out and get super stressed. What a great way to end the school year... loads and loads of stress. Yay.
