You were slightly upset you didn't get to talk to Morgan for the rest of the evening. You had sung for a while until people had slowly emptied the room. Afterwards you pulled away by Lucy the moment you stepped down from the stage.

You looked around quickly hoping to steal a glance of the blonde but couldn't seem to find him. Lucy dragged you to your hotel room and you both got ready for bed.

It wasn't long before she was out like a light. It had been a long day and she was getting married tomorrow. You finished brushing your teeth smiling a t your snoring best friend. You were so delighted she was finally marrying Jake, you had never seen her so happy.

You braided your hair so it would naturally curl for the morning. You had just dropped your towel and changed into a t-shirt and leggings when there was a very soft knock on the door.

You quickly glanced at your sleeping best friend to make sure she wasn't stirring. You gently tiptoed to the door and looked through the peephole. Your heart fluttered the moment you saw the familiar blonde standing in front of your door. You opened the door as he reached up to knock again.

"Morgan, what is it?" you asked with a smile.

"Wedding Emergency." He smiled but was met with your frown.

"Is everything okay? Jake didn't get cold feet or anything did he?" you asked quickly as you stepped out of the room to insure that Lucy couldn't hear.

"No nothing like that." he smiled once more and you were confused.

"Then what?" You asked expectantly.

"Well the best man couldn't sleep because he couldn't stop thinking about the maid of honor."

You felt the tinge of pink creep onto your cheeks as you giggled.

He picked up a picnic basket that was sitting by your door.

"Join me?"

"I'm not exactly dressed."

"Neither am I" you glanced him up and down, taking in his Leafs sweatshirt and plaid pajama pants.

"I see you checking me out Y/N." he chuckles nodding for you to follow him.

"I was not!" you defend as you stumble to catch up.

You ended up out by the lake the hotel sat on. He pulled out a blanket from the basket. You helped him spread it out and you both sat down.

You sat in a comfortable silence for a few moments. Morgan pulled out waters and fruit from the basket. "I raided the mini bar"

"where'd you get the basket?" you asked curious as to where he found a picnic basket after 10 pm.

"A very helpful concierge." He chuckled with a wink.

"So I hear you are a big star on Broadway?" he asks as he pops a grape into his mouth.

You scoff and sigh. "I guess you could say that."

He looks at you questioningly. "Not the response I expected."

You look at him. "I love New York, but it's not home. I run through these shows surrounded by people, but I've never felt so alone. I miss home so much. New York just isn't a place for me."

"Then why stay?"

"If I come home, I just feel like I will be letting everyone down. Lucy's family has done so much for me. They basically took me in when I had nowhere else to go. They helped me get in to the fancy arts school and attended every show they could get too. I don't want to disappoint them."

Morgan scooted closer to you rubbing your back. "I am pretty sure they just want you to be happy. I also don't think they would mind having you closer to home."

"I'm sorry to be rambling on about this. It just feels so..." you smile into him.

"Comfortable?" he asks with a smile.

"How did you do..."

"That?" He interrupts with a chuckle.

"Now you are just showing off." You giggle pushing him softly.

He playfully pushes you back and you can't help the hitch in your breath as the distance between you is closed.

He seems to notice and places his hand upon yours. "I just feel like I have known you forever and its kind of comforting."

"It is." You answer.

"Would you think I was crazy If I asked to kiss you right now?" he asked nervously, rubbing the back of his neck with his other hand.

"I wouldn't dream of it."

"So can I kiss you?" he suddenly looks at you.

"I thought you knew all Rielly." You smirk.

He chuckles and leans in and you meet him halfway. Your lips meet and the sparks fly. You both pull away and you can't help but notice Morgan's rosy cheeks that match your own.

You sit there for a bit, enjoying each other's company. You talk about an endless array of topics, partake in a few more kisses and soon you both drift to sleep in each other's arms on the shoreline.

You wake up with a start as the sun sprinkles the shoreline. "Shit!" you gasp

as you quickly scramble to stand up. Morgan rubs his eyes as he pulls you back down.

"What, What, I'm awake..." he mumbles

Morgan, it's morning! As in the morning of Jake and Lucy's wedding that we are a part of!

Suddenly Morgan is wide awake. "Did we stay out here all night?"

"I would assume so, unless we missed the wedding entirely and its now Sunday."

He chuckles and places a kiss to your lips as you both rush to your perspective rooms. You stop and get coffee downstairs, hoping to convince Lucy you went down to fetch it for the both of you.

You knock on the door when you realize you had left your key the night before. Lucy answers in her robe.

"Well good morning bride! Is someone ready to get married?" you ask excitedly.

"I am very ready to get married, but right now I am more curious to know where you were." She smirks an all knowing grin. You try to continue to play dumb.

"I went early to check on everything and grab us some coffee." You quip holding up the tray.

"At 2 in the morning? It was the night before my wedding, you think I slept through the night?" she laughed grabbing her coffee.

"I was handling um wedding emergencies with a groomsman."

"Wedding Emergencies?" she inquires.

"The best man couldn't sleep and need company from a certain maid of honor..." you grinned sheepishly.

She squealed in delight and you both hopped for a moment until you wrapped Lucy into a hug.

"Okay enough of my escapades, Let's get you married!"
