It's been 2 weeks since Steven and Star had met, from there all for of them would hang out at the beach, the temple or their hotel room. Today was a new day; Steven was on the phone with Star, Amethyst was playing videogames, Pearl was doing the dishes and Garnet was killing it with the newspaper.

"So, Star I was wondering if you'd like to.........." Steven said stopping as all the gems start looking at him, then feeling awkward.

"What's that?" Star asked.

"If you'd like to go out on a date?" Steven asked as the gems start smiling, but Amethyst starts laughing.

"Sure, I'd love too" Star answered.

"Cool, I'll pick you up by 7" Steven said.

"Then I'll be ready" Star said cutting the call.

"Star, who was that?" Marco asked.

"My knight in shining armour" Star said slipping onto the floor from her bed all lovestruck.

"Steven and Star! Kissing in a tree!! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!! First comes love!!!! Then comes marriage!!!!! Then a little gemling in a baby carriage!!!!!!" Amethyst sang teasing Steven.

"Shut up" Steven said sounding like a little boy.

"Is little Steven afraid to take his girlfriend on a date?" Amethyst said mockingly.

"I'm going to book a place, probably that new restaurant that just opened" Steven said leaving the house for the new restaurant that just opened a few blocks​ away from the Crab shack. Steven got finally got to the restaurant, it wasn't packed with too many people because it just started​, but it was being run by Mr. Smiley and his friend.

"Hey Mr. Smiley, I wanna make a reservation for your best table" Steven said seeing Mr. Smiley and getting straight to the point.

"The best table huh, who is the special lady caught in your net?" Mr. Smiley asked.

"Just a friend of mine I wanna impress" Steven said.

"Will there be music or not?" Mr. Smiley asked.

"No music, just normal dinner at the best table available" Steven said.

"Good, we'll be expecting you" Mr. Smiley said.

"Then I'll be ready, till then I bid you a do" Steven said leaving.

At the hotel.......

Star was panicking, looking for the best outfit to wear, busy throwing dresses, blouses, skirts and shoes out of the closest; while Star did that, Jackie and Marco just watched in simplicity as Star continues to throw things out.

"What do I wear?!?!" Star said panicking.

"Star calm down, your messing up the room and the date is gonna be okay" Marco said trying his best to calm Star down.

"Don't talk to me about calm, Mr. I have to write what I need to talk to Jackie about on my hand" Star said still looking for something to wear.

"Oh shit! She just got you!! Haha!!!" Jackie laughed.

"Whatever" Marco huffed.

"Yes, the perfect outfit" Star said pulling out a special dress for her date.
