Expect the unexpected

Steven had spent a lot of time studying hard, even though he got help from Connie who had tried to rape him multiple times and even underestimated Amethyst once but learnt her lesson; now he was looking for a school to go, Connie's was out of the question seeing that even with passing she'll definitely rape him, and he needs a place where doesn't have to worry Star about.

Their long distance relationship was going good for the time being, but they were still sad that they couldn't see each other physically even with Star's dimensional scissors, and they were both occupied at the time they'd call each other.

Star wasn't doing good at all, well school was going better, but Brittney was always on her neck about the fake boyfriend she's always talking about; then depression and crying kicked in every time Britney would embarrass her at school, then her princess duties and magic lessons were no walk in the park due to a lot of processes she had to go, and all she wanted was it to all finish so she could go cry herself to bed.

But all darkness leaved when the sun rises in the morning.

Present day......

Steven was packing up the last of his stuff from the temple and looking the old memories he had there, finally finishing up and looking at everything he was planning on leaving in hopes of seeing them again, then looking at the gems and pulling him into a group hug.

"I'm gonna miss you guys" Steven said holding back tears, as they did the same even Garnet was crying.

"We will too Steven, I'll miss you the most" Amethyst cried.

"Don't forget to call once in a while" Pearl said.

"It won't be the same without you, but please come visit so we don't forget how our baby still looks" Garnet said.

"I'll try, I promise to visit and do my best" Steven said staying like that before letting go, walking up to the warp pad and standing there with his skateboard and bag.

"I just thought of something" Steven said.

"What was that?" Amethyst asked.

"I just thought of how proud Mom would've been of you, all of you" Steven said as the warp pad activates, sending him to his destination while leaving the team in an astonished expression, then Garnet grins with pride in Steven.

Unknown location.......

"Time to get accustomed to this place and then start school" Steven said walking to the house he got a few blocks from a local skatepark, fixing up the place and taking a look at the place.

"Finally done, I'll explore a little tomorrow, but for now some TV" Steven said sitting down, picking up the remote from the small coffee, turning on the TV and watching the news.

"Some well deserved, isn't that right Lion?" Steven said looking at Lion, who was laying down beside him on the couch.

Steven managed to get accustomed to the place really quickly, many people were fond of knocking on his door for the first week which was more of the neighbours making him welcomed to town and neighborhood, even Rafael and Angie showed up but he'd told them not to tell Star or Marco he was there. Now he's packing his notebooks, textbooks, pencil bag into he's MTN Dew backpack, with a white water bottle designed with three black stars.

"Good, finally packed and taken breakfast, now just to get to school before I'm late" Steven said picking up his bag, skateboard, car and house keys; walking out of his room and seeing Lion waiting there, heaving a sigh, he walks over to Lion, bends down and pats Lion head.

"I've got to go school, I'll be back before you even know it, okay?" Steven said as Lion let out a small growl; causing Steven to grin and ruffle his mane a little, standing up walking out of the building, walking to his car, dumping his skateboard in the back and seeing some kids with scooters and skateboards.
