Chapter 7- They Adore Her

Colby's POV:

After my mom had let go of me in her tight hug she looked over at Nacy, "You must be the wonderful Nacyla, Colby has bragged so much about you over the phone". My mom the hugged her and Nacyla hugged back, "Its nice to meet you Mrs.Brock" Nacyla said. (I have no idea what his mom's name is so I'm making one up!) "Please call me Jessica and please come in come in".

We walked inside of my old home with our suitcases, "So where are you two staying for the night?" My mom asked looking at me then Nacy. We looked at each other and I looked back at my mom and shrugged. "Well then...I guess you'll have to stay with me!" My mom announced. "Oh no we couldn't possible.

I wouldn't want to bother you" Nacyla spoke. "Nonsense sweety, plus you and I can have a little girl talk about embarrassing things about your husband over there. "Mom!" I groaned like an emo teenage boy and rolled my eyes. Nacyla and my mom laughed at my stupidity. "Nacy! Your suppose to be on my side!" I whined. She did her cute little giggle and smiled at my mom.

"I guess we'll have to stay then! I can't wait to see all the pictures!" She announced. "Ugh, I'm going to put the suitcases in my old room" I groaned dragging the slightly heavy cases up the stairs. I could here my mom and wife gossip about me. "You know I can here you!?" I yelled half way up the stairs.

I then heard them giggle and continue. I rolled my eyes and smiled, "I swear those two are going to kill me with embarrassment" I told myself. After I put the suitcases in my old room I flew down the stairs, not literal of course, and went to find my mom and wife who weren't in the living room anymore. As I looked around the familiar house I heard quiet giggles coming from the basement.

As I opened the door more than it already was the giggles became louder. I then heard a "Awe he is so cute!" and new it was from Nacy. I quickly ran down the stairs to find a bright light in the very back. As I got closer the giggles began to get louder and louder. When I finally reached the main light source I seen my mom and Nacy sitting in two chairs with my mother holding a photo album.

"He is so cute! Look at his cubby cheeks!" Nacyla squealed. "I know!" My mom flipped to the next page. I guess they didn't notice me since they're gawking at my baby photos. I cleared my throat and the looked up at me with slight giddiness on there faces. "You are so cute!!!! As a baby of course" Nacyla said obviously joking. But I acted offended and gasped putting my hand to my chest. Nacyla giggled and looked back at the album.

*dinner*

We all sat at the dining room table. My dad and wife were having a chat while I stared until space thinking about the first time I ever met Nacy. I will never forget that day. It was the most perfect one. It was almost like destiny. It felt like fate. "Cole Robert Brock!" Someone shouted my name. I snapped out of my thought and looked around to see who called my name. I turned to Nacy and she smiled, "Glad to see we got you out of your daze" She laughed. "Sorry just....thinking" I explained.

"Mmhm sure" She said. She then turned back to my dad who began another conversation. I just sat there and listened until I got pulled in. "So Colby, have you and Nacy.....you know?" My dad was very bad at not making thing obvious. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks, I looked over at Nacy and she had a blush across her face. "Dad! And why do you want to know?" I gritted my teeth together trying not to freak out.

"Well I just wanted too warn you two to be careful, always wear pro-"--"Dad! Please stop!" I yelled slightly cutting him off. He chuckled and put his hands up. "I'm just teasing you son". I rolled my eyes and then buried them into my hands. I felt like a high schooler again, were my dad asks my girlfriend embarrassing questions. "Alright you two cut it out, especially you" My mom glared at my father.

"What? Can't I tease my son?" My dad chuckled. "Well if I can then I guess" My mom laughed. I still had my hands on my face hiding my embarrassment until I felt something rubbing my thigh. I looked over to see Nacy smiling at me, with that smile. I looked down at her hand and back up and her.

I moved my arm making me drop mine and Nacy's fork and spoon. We both leaned down to grab them when I whispered, "You are going to regret teasing me". We got the silverware and both walked to the kitchen to get new ones. I opened the drawer and got her a new spoon and me a new for and we sat back down.

*Night time*

As I watched Nacy crawl into bed I began to smirk. I climbed into bed with her then quickly got on top of her. She began to smile and giggle, "You'll regret teasing me" I stated.
