Chapter 11- Stroll in Maine part #2

Colby's POV;

  Nacy and I were walking the streets of Maine hand in hand. I honestly can't remember the last time we did something like this. I think it has been like almost a year but today we are breaking that streak. This time we know our way back so we won't get lost. We pass by a Pet Shop and I see Nacy looking back. "No" I say sternly. She looked back at me quickly with puppy eyes. 'No! No resists Cole Robert Brock! Re-'. 

  We turn around and go into the shop. Nacy runs off some where and I just stand at the door looking around the big room. There are a bunch of birds and hamsters. "I know exactly where she went" I sigh following the direction Nacy went in. I found her in a back room sitting down with a bunch of puppies surrounding her. I smile at happy she is. The puppies are on top of her licking her face and it is absolutely adorable. 

   I take my phone out of my pocket and take a picture. I post it on Instagram, Snapchat and all of my other Social Media. I stick my phone back in my pocket and keep staring at her. She looks at me with a smile. "Babe? Can we pleeeeeaaasssssee get one!" Nacy begged. I laughed and shook my head. "Babe how are we going to bring a puppy on a plane? Plus you know a puppy is a whole crap ton of work". She looks down with sadness. "Ugh fine, which one?" I say defeated. She looks back up with a big grin. She then stands up taking the puppies off of her first though. 

   She then picks up a Border Collie puppy. It had a black tail along with black paws and its muzzle was black too. Other then that it was all white. "That's the one?" I asked. She shook her head frantically. "Alright lets go pay for it and get some food. You are so lucky I love you" I laugh turning around walking out of the room. I could here Nacy following behind me. I grabbed a bag of puppy food and brought it up to the cashier. "Is this all?" The lady asked. I smiled and shook my head no. I turned to Nacy who was holding the puppy close to her. The puppy was licking her cheek and underneath her chin. 

  "Oh puppies are free today and next Friday" The cashier exclaimed. I turned back to her. "Oh, we have to sign papers don't we?" I asked. She nodded and reached to get something out from underneath her desk. She pulled out a clip board with a couple of pieces attached to it. She handed it to me and I handed it to Nacy. 

  She held the puppy in one arm and grabbed the clipboard  and sat down on the floor setting the puppy down next to her. I was surprised when the puppy just stayed with her watching her sign the papers. She handed the clipboard back to me and I handed it back to the cashier. "That'll be $10.04" She smiled. I handed her my credit card. She swiped it and handed it back it to me. 

( Back at the hotel and yes they allow dogs)

Nacyla's POV:

  I held Snowball in my arms while sitting  on the hotel bed. She slept in my lap and I petted the top of her fluffy head. I smiled as she breathed quietly. I looked up and seen that Colby was sitting on the edge of the bed watching me. "Babe are you jealous?" I laughed. He made a poutey face, crossed his arms and said yes. "Calm down you get more attention then snowball ever did before she came here". I smiled. So did he.
