James groaned as he sat up. I get up from the floor and run to the him quickly, needing to be by his side. Posey picked up the ice pack I left on the ground and hands it back to me.

James sits up, taking the cloth and ice pack off his face as he takes in the surroundings.

"Who're you...?" He mumbles looking to Posey.

"I'm Tyler. Rachel called me because she wasn't sure what to do when you passed out," he says.

"Are you okay, Jay?" I whisper, feeling tear bubble up.

"I-I think so..." he says, sitting up. "Are you okay, babe? I'm really sorry..." he says, reaching out and gently rubbing the spot where he punched me.

"It's okay..." I mumble, nodding.

"James. Do you need to go to the hospital? Think you might have a concussion or are you fine?"

"I'm fine. I may have passed out, but trust me I can take that douche..." he groans.

"He's not a douche! He's one of my best friends!" I defend.

"Yeah dude, sorry but Dylan's my bud, and I can't agree with you on that," Posey says. James rolls his eyes.

"Okay well, I'm awake, so why don't you get out of my girlfriend's apartment?"

"Okay, James, I just helped you wake back up. I'm starting to see why Dylan knocked you out..." Posey says, his jaw tightening.

"Posey, thank you for the help," I say, interjecting. "But we've both had a long night, and James is getting snippy because of it," I defend.

Posey sighs. "Okay... okay..."

"Let me walk you out, Tyler..." I offer. He nods and we both walk out of the bedroom. We walk in silence to the front door. But he stops when we get there.

"Rachel. I'm gonna need the full story, soon. And you call me first if he decides he needs to go to the hospital, okay?"

I nod. He hugs me tight.

"I'm sorry, Rachel. I'm definitely gonna talk to Dylan about what he was thinking. It might just be stress from Britt, even though I know that's no excuse..." he says. I nod.

"I understand..." I whisper.

"Get some sleep. Call me if anything happens..." he says. I nod and he kisses my temple before leaving my apartment. I lock the door behind him and get my phone out, quickly calling Dylan. I felt myself freaking out, fearing deeply from what Dylan would tell Posey. No one else could know what happened tonight.

"Hello..?" He mumbles in a tired voice.

"Dyl...?" I croak out as I tried to keep tears down.

"Rachel?! Please tell me you're okay. He didn't hit you again, did he?" He questions, very concerned.

"I'm physically fine, Dylan..."

"Then why're you calling me?" He snaps. Hearing him angry at me broke me.

"Posey came over to help me wake up James and he's going to you with questions...."

"Yeah, I would have questions, too..."

"But he can't find out the answers to those questions..." I mumble.

"Rachel. I'm not lying to Posey,"
