Jemma's POV
Holy crap what died in my head
Wait my arm hurts too,
Oh, and my leg!
Fantastic
My eyelids felt like lead as I tried to open them but failed miserably when they wouldn't open. There was a faint amount of light coming from behind my eyelids and there was a lingering smell of disinfectant in the air. In the background there were muffled voices which were talking about something I couldn't understand
The soft sheets beneath me were so comfy at the moment as I just lay there and relaxed trying to figure out where I was and why I felt like leprechauns were dancing in my head with stone shoes on.
I tried to open my eyes again with great difficulty but yet again with no success.
The voices stopped again and I tried to move some part of my body
My eyelids flickered for a moment making it easier to try and lift them from my eyes.
The voices had started again but this time were unmistakably closer to me. I tried once again and this time my eyes fluttered open to reveal a bright light. They quickly shut and I groaned as the light was way to bright and started mumbling about how stupid it was to have such bright lights when it it felt like someone died in your head
Someone beside me chuckled making me open my eyes again but slower this time as I knew heat was to come
Slowly the blinding white light came into focus and turned into the hospital wing.
Wow I really need to be more careful
The voice beside me chuckled again at my reaction making me turn my head towards the blonde boy beside me
"You know, you really do need to be more careful, the amount of times I've come and found you in here!" Then he grew solemn "well before you left anyway"
I instinctively reached out and grabbed his hand and gave it a slight squeeze to re-assure him "were back together now though, only problem is getting out if this time and back into our own I guess" I mumbled the last part to myself
He gave my hand a light squeeze just as I had done and whispered to me "we'll make it through this"
My eyes flickered up to his gaze and he held it strongly, the light grey stormy eyes of his that I loved so much.
But of course all good things, like this moment had to be ruined for me as madam Pomfrey bustled into the hospital wing from her office. Once she saw I was awake she quickly made her way over to where we were and started thrusting different coloured potions at me to drink.
The assorted flavours didn't do me any favours either, one was strawberry, another like dragon pee... Eughh that one was horrible!
Draco chuckled again at my facial expressions after each one, still holding onto my hand
"Alright you seem better but you are going to have to stay in the hospital wing for another night just to make sure." She said fumbling about with her potions
