Chapter four: The Secret

As soon as I finished talking to Audrey, she said that he did like me. I happened to agree with her.

The last bell rang and I went home as a quickly as possible.

When I reached home, my dad was there waiting to greet me. To be honest I was quite surprised.

"Hey Dad! What are you doing home so early?"

"I had a half day at work," he said. "It was mostly because it was my boss' birthday."

"That's cool! I'll be in my room if you need me."

"Okay sweetie."

I walked quickly to my room. I couldn't wait to write in my 'Thoughts Journal' about my experience today with Happy.

Later it was dinner time and my family was sitting around the table when I came down the stairs. I was so giddy that I kept on laughing and laughing, Andrea was very suspicious about me and gave me the you-have-a-secret look. I was actually a little worried she would find out so I finally stopped laughing.

"So why are you so happy?" she asked.

"No reason," I answered nonchalantly.

"Sure there isn't."

I started to sweat a little bit. Was she really onto me?

(Happy's POV)

I have to get home, I have to get home. That was the only thought going through my head. I HAVE TO GET HOME!

I FINALLY got there and opened the door. Luckily, no one was home so I ran upstairs to my room, closed the door, and smiled to myself.

My family got home and they called for me but honestly, I don't even want to get up. All I want to do is dream about Amanda.
