After all the dramas and publicity stunts that lasted for about a week, we are back on the road. There’s like four weeks left to rehearse and we barely have anything good. It shouldn’t actually bother me but I needed to take pictures for the documentation and movie they’re going to release in the latter part of the year. This shouldn’t actually be my job but we were in a hurry and I volunteered even if I have very amateur skills. I guess Natalie saves the day, isn’t it?

The heat was getting into us. It was almost summertime and it was so rare that London would be this hot. Maybe, we got so accustomed to the cold that 18°C was hot, but this was nothing compared to the tropical countries. London was indeed starting to rub off on me.

“Louis, do it properly,” Liam rebuked as he slapped Louis’ arm. The heat was seriously getting to Liam; he needed to chill badly.

“Why’d you do that for?” Louis asked, obviously irritated. He was still sprawled on the floor, covered in sweat.

“We have been trying to ask you to do the routine nicely but you are so stubborn and being immature,” Liam answered, looking as if he was to burst any moment now.

“We have been trying to ask you… you’ve said that in the past ten minutes. You sound like a broken record,” Louis taunted. He even copied the way Liam had said it.

“Okay, guys. Have a five minute break,” I ordered before anything drastic happens. All of us needed a break soon, but with what was happening in our lives right now, it was impossible.  The boys had a tour to do and I had a lot of pretending to do.

“No,” Steven disagreed firmly. Okay, if there was anyone in here who wasn’t knackered, it was him. I envied him of his stamina.

“Give us a break,” Zayn whined desperately. He was slouched on a chair and it was obvious that he was so tired. He had not had a proper rest after being hospitalized.

“No. You’ll be performing for promos for the tour and album next week. You can’t,” Steven reminded. Well, he was definitely getting into our nerves.

“How do I not know about this?” I asked, a bit offended at this new information. Why do they keep on planning things without letting me know? I was supposed to be in charge of their public image. They shouldn’t be the one doing the job for me. Clearly, when I signed up for this job, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Maybe, I should’ve stuck myself being a loser or a stripper, whichever makes me richer.

“Tiffany haven’t told you? I’m not even surprised,” he stated mockingly.

“Why did no one tell me?” I asked, puzzled.

“Well clearly, we had to do something while you were failing the one job you had. Why would someone tell you? You haven’t gone to work for almost a month! And honey, your job isn’t the hardest thing in the world. We all have common sense,” he replied, making sure that he was offending me. Well, Steven. You did offend me and I was prepared to prove all you fuckers wrong.

“Okay.” I grinned creepily at him before walking out on everyone. I did need a break and no one was going to stop me.

This was their last day of rehearsals and it was almost midnight.  We were just doing some final touches with everything—from their outfits to their hairstyles to the stage design and you get the point. Everyone was knackered but we were all happy that we did produce something presentable and something that the fans would really enjoy.

“Boys, you should go home and rest those vocals,” Ben ordered. Guess we’ll be going home earlier then.

The five idiots just nodded their heads in reply since they were so drained right now. Well, they’ll be the one performing after all. I don’t even know what hit me when I scheduled them a performance at Late Night show yesterday. Well, I was only doing my job.

I continued editing the rest of the footage and pictures as everyone started preparing to leave. I wanted to get this done now and that was what exactly what I was doing.

“Natalie, you should go home,” Zayn advised as he sat on the chair near my desk.

“I’m just finishing editing the minor details,” I replied before yawning loudly. Zayn grinned at me as I was proving myself wrong. I did need rest after all.

“Zayn, go home,” Ben reprimanded as he turned the lights off in the kitchen area. Zayn followed his orders and hugged me before leaving the venue.

“Natalie, let’s go home,” Ben suggested with a polite smile.

“Sure,” I replied before proceeding to turn off the laptop and fix my things.

“Why did you stay up?” I asked as we were walking down the hall to the exit. Thank God I wasn’t afraid of the dark or anything of that sort.

“I wanted to talk to you,” he replied lowly.

“About?”

“Sorry about the stunt. Someone forced me to,” he said honestly and quite horrified if you ask me.

“Seriously, it was nothing. In fact, I’m thankful that you did that because if you didn’t, I wouldn’t have had my wakeup call so thank you,” I said politely. I was starting to like Ben. I judged him too early and I did regret those stupid decisions I made before.

He hugged me sincerely and I was too shocked to not hug him back. He even rubbed my back. But that wasn’t all. He just had to wake up my senses and now, I wasn’t sure if I was tired anymore. I was so awake because of what he told me.

“He’s watching you, Natalie. I know you know who he is but please, fight. He’ll never break you. You have me. He told me to do that stuff or else, he’ll hurt my family and I couldn’t. He’ll do anything to get revenge on you.”

Victor, you really are a dick.

I couldn’t sleep after trying for 15 times so I decided to have some tea. I was definitely scared and shocked when I heard noise in the kitchen. What surprised me even more was the person who was sitting on my kitchen counter with a smile. I wasn’t sure if I should be scared or I should be laughing.

“Niall, what are you doing here? How did you get in?” I asked as more questions came to me.

“Shhh. Calm down,” he said warily.

“Tell me why you are here,” I ordered, making sure he was getting what I was saying.

“I couldn’t sleep and your room was the nearest,” he shrugged. Oh, how could I forget?! I am staying at a compound with Niall since he didn’t want to stay in a hotel or a flat on his own. Yeah, I was surprised too and in the span of the time when we were preparing for the tour, it just sort of happened. In short, Niall and I are practically living with each other.

“Want some tea?” I offered as I was boiling some hot water.

“About that…” he trailed off and the guilt evident on his face answered the question in my head. He managed to consume all of my green tea again. Niall seriously wants to kill me by consuming all my tea.

“I’m sorry. They were just so good,” he said guiltily.

“You owe me some green tea,” I said firmly before searching for some decaf coffee.

~’~’~

This was seriously all over the place and as you can see, I’m rushing to the part of the tour. This story is obviously a slow paced one since I can see that some of you are still confused on who Victor is and who Natalie really is. Well, I do like confusing people so :).

Vote and Comment PLEASE. I need to know if I should continue this or not because I’m starting to doubt myself.

Have a great day by looking at the gif at the side :) !
