“He invited you to his cabin?” Levy started. A teasing smile placed on her face, “Your ‘friend’?”

Lucy gave her a look.

“It won’t be just the two of us. The others will be there as well,” she explained.

They were in the classroom, sitting on their chairs while waiting for first period.

“And you want us to go with you?” Erza clarified as she sat on one of the tables.

“Well…It would be nice if they get to know my friends…please?” Lucy had a pleading smile on.

“That means that guy with piercings will be there, right?” Levy inquired with full interest, her cheeks red.

“Yes, wait…how did you know about him?” Lucy looked at her suspiciously.

“Alright then. It’s settled. I’m going with you.”

Her question got ignored and forgotten like unfulfilled dreams. But she didn’t probe anymore, at least someone agreed to go with her.

“Then I’m in as well,” Erza started, “You girls can’t have the summer fun all to yourself.”

And just her luck, another one agreed to go.

“Summer fun? Why do I feel like I’ve been left out?” Sting, the blonde who lost the basketball game with Natsu, said as he went closer to the girls.

“I’m going, too. Wherever the destination may be,” he proudly crossed his arms on his chest.

“You’re all planning out without me?!” Cana suddenly shouted.

She just woke up on her desk. Got drunk last night. Again. She was a drunkard party girl, but they were friends. And they loved her.

“I know you’re still going even without an invitation,” Lucy giggled at her, “So relax, nobody’s going to be left behind.”

Then the door of the classroom opened. The teacher has finally arrived. One hour late. Oh well, who cares. Summer was right at the corner already anyway.

“Alright class, just do whatever it is you wanna do. But keep it down. I’m gonna get some sleep,” Mr. Gildarts Clive announced as he slumped on his chair lazily and instantly fell asleep face down on the teacher’s desk.

Cana gave out a loud disappointed sigh.

“What a drunkard,” she said coolly.

“Just like his daughter.”

“What was that blondie?!” Cana’s head was facing Sting in no time. He just gave her a smirk to piss her off more. Ah…friends. What would you do without them.

“Hey Lucy,” Levy said as she poked her friend on the side, “Let’s go buy bathing suits after class.” She was cheerful. As always.

“Alright.” Lucy smiled back.

It was happening.

She was going to spend the summer with her friends.

And her Ex.

Totally normal.
