“Are you okay?”
Lucy asked worriedly as she checked Natsu’s face if he got bruised from the encounter at the beach.
They were all at the living room.
He just smirked at her, emphasizing that he was fine.
“You shouldn’t be asking me that,” Natsu answered as he turned to Jellal on the other couch, with Erza pressing an ice pack on his cheek, “He’s the one who got punched.”
She hummed in agreement as she followed his gaze, sitting next to him.
“Aren’t you afraid those guys might get back at you?”
“Let them,” his voice was calm like it wasn’t a big deal, “I’ll finish them off.”
Lucy sighed. Yes, he’s strong. But he could be too much sometimes.
“Don’t be too confident,” she said.
“If that happens, he won’t be alone!” Loki, who was pouring himself a glass of Vodka near the fridge, yelled, “We’ll be there with him. So relax, Lucy.”
“And I get to give that bastard a payback for punching my face,” Jellal said irritably as he pointed at his cheek.
“Stop moving so much,” Erza whined as she pressed the icepack again.
“It felt kinda cool too y’know,” Sting spoke, “I mean, I’ve never been on a fight before.”
Gajeel who was peacefully sitting at the corner and munching a piece of bread smirked at him.
“It only feels cool when you’re with the winning team, man.”
“Those guys were lucky it happened at a public beach” Gray started, “Next time, I’m not stopping any fight no more. It’s a showdown.”
Lucy could only sigh. There was no way she was winning this conversation.
“I guess there’s no point in arguing with you,” she stood up, arms crossed.
“Guys, dinner’s ready. Help yourselves,” Levy called out from the kitchen. She was preparing food with Cana.
Not about to keep the blessing waiting, they all settled down at the long table and started to dig in.
“So, tomorrow, where to?” Cana said with much energy after shoving a piece of steak in her mouth.
“Oh! Why don’t we go to the amusement park?” Levy answered excitedly.
“To play? Ah right, you’re still a kid.”
Then she slapped Gajeel on the shoulder for his unnecessary comment.
“Ow!”
“Mm. Not a very bad idea,” Loki smirked, “Girls usually flood that place during summer.”
“That’s just gross,” Erza mumbled, having a bite of the strawberry cake dessert.
“Do you wanna go?” Natsu asked as he turned to Lucy beside him.
“Sounds fun. Why not,” she answered with a smile on her face.
“Okay,” and he turned to everyone else in the table, “It’s settled then. Amusement Park.”
.
Lucy put on an oversized white T-shirt. She just finished brushing her teeth and was getting ready for bed. Even removed her bra off, feeling comfortable without them on when she sleeps.
