~~~The Lab~~~
Paulo walked around the lab, observing all the crazy high-tech inventions Andrew had created. There were machines a tubes stringing from one end of the room to the other. There was room, but not a whole bunch.
"Wow. Um... How long have you been alone down here?" Paulo asked him, curious to when he had the time to accomplish this.
"Oh many hours." Andrew responded walking over to a desk, where buttons glowed all sorts of colors.
"Right..." Paulo said uncomfortably, while walking over to a table with gray colored liquids. "What are these things?" He asked, picking up one of the test tubes and shook it around lightly. It seemed to jiggle like jello and had a strong smell.
"DON'T TOUCH THEM!" Andrew yelled at him with a sense of urgency. "These are very dangerous chemicals known as Boarium and Graytium. NEVER mess with these chemicals because blah blah blah and blah blah then..."
Before Andrew had stopped babbling, Paulo had long before stopped listening.
"Yeah, ok." Paulo walked over to a shelf full of space like objects. There were objects that looked too advanced for today's technology. They were all lined up on a desk. Paulo decided to pick one of them up.
"What are these?" Paulo asked. Andrew jerked his head over to him and ran over as fast as he could. Andrew snatched the object out of his hand.
"NOTHING! NOW MOVE ALONG!" Andrew said pushing Paulo to the other side of the room. Andrew sighed in relief and came to a control panel. In front of it was a sheet covering the machine.
"Ok Paulo, ready for the project to begin?" Andrew asked him with a big grin on his face. Then he pulled the cover off the machine. There was a chair right next to it, and above was a helmet, made entirely out of metal with flashing buttons. Attached to the machine was a screen.
"Amazing.." Paulo said in awe.
~~~Upstairs~~~
"Ok, guys, I'm gonna be honest. This project makes NO sense." Katie said waving a packet in the air. "Like it says, write a paragraph on your friend's favorite color here! And if they don't have a favorite color, you can always write about the origins of their last name! This is a group project, not just focusing on one person! Like I know these are suggestions, but what if you don't even have friends!"
"Honestly this is just a lame excuse for the forever alone kids to make friends." Carly said pacing around the room. Then she smiled. "How about we write about our life stories!"
"But that's not the project." Katie said to her. Carly frowned at the exclusion of her idea, but brushed it off.
"What about our favorite bands!" Jade said crossing her legs.
"Some of us don't listen to bands. Its not about what we like either." Jessie said looking out the window.
"Ha! Says you, Five Minutes of Spring!" Jade said, now sitting up in defense. "Do you seriously still like their music?"
Jessie, like Carly, started to be unsure about doing this project with everyone. It seemed that they all didn't really get along as well as they could.
Then, there was a knocking on the tree, which made the girls jump to their feet.
"Oh what now?" Carly said, opening a hatch to look who was at the ladder. There were three figures standing at the base of the tree. The warm air from the tree house was going outside so she signaled the three in. She threw a ladder down to them and they climbed up. The first figure to come up was Jake.
"It's freezing out there!" Jake said taking off his shoes without care.
This is Jake, the lovable pal of the group. He was a playful person, and stuck with the rest of the group. He had light brown hair. He wore a light gray sweater and jeans. The second person to come up was Steven.
"Yoooooz!" Steven said enthusiastically, climbing up the ladder, and sliding onto the floor.
Steven was a funny guy, with an immature sense of humor. He had brown hair and a red bow tie he always wore. Steven wore a light blue shirt and jeans.
"Just go in the closet already." Jade said, pushing him along.
"Oh right," Steven chuckled to himself. "...The closet." He continued to speak, with a smirk on his face.
"But what about-" Carly was about to finish, before the last person came up the ladder. It was Matt
"Hallo" Matt spoke in a silly tone. He jumped from one end of the room to the next. Katie face palmed.
Matt was the chill guy of the group. He was playful and a bit serious at times, but always came through. He had very dark hair, and wore a neon green t-shirt. On occasion he wore his blue sweatshirt, with jeans.
That's the rest of the group for ya! Now lets go on.
"This way, ya guys." Carly said, strolling over to the doorway, before being hit by multiple pillows at once.
Jade, Katie, and Jessie had grabbed their pillows from their sleeping bags, and attacked the boys. Carly then joined in.
"MAGICAL ORBS UH! TOILETS ARE COOLER!" Jessie yelled, which traveled all the way down to the lab, where Paulo and Andrew were preparing for a project.
"What in the name of Aristotle was THAT?!" Andrew yelled. He could hear the sound of both boys and girls yelling. "Come on Paulo, lets investigate." Andrew said, climbing the ladder, that led into the closet, alongside Paulo.
The two finally arrived to the main room, where the group was battling it out with each other.
"WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Andrew asked, walking into the center of the room. Katie whacked him with a pillow.
"ITS A GOSH DARN PILLOW FIGHT!" Katie yelled, bouncing around, hitting the rest of the boys. She was very strong with her hits. Paulo decided to bring his pillow. Some how he knew they were having a pillow.
Everyone was playing, except for Andrew.
"FOR SWEDEN!" Matt yelled, completely destroying the others.
"This is absurd!" Andrew said, frowning at the mess of pillows and blankets scattered across the floor. Carly then hit Andrew with pillow.
"JOIN IN!" She yelled in his face, blocking off the pillows flying her. With an annoyed look, Andrew threw a pillow at Carly.
"Happy?" Andrew said, raising an eyebrow in the group's direction.
"Yes... DERPS ATTACK!!" She yelled, going back to the rest of them. All the boys and girls fought. Feathers flew everywhere.
