I jumped up too see if it was who I thought it was. I turned the corner to see my dad in the flesh.

My heart started beating really fast because I got scared, I never been so scared to look at the first man I ever loved in my life. After what happened between us and the family he couldn't be trusted whatsoever.

I don't know what his intentions or why he's even here. Lord knows this family doesn't need any more drama.

"Son you think cause that nigga raising you nie that you can approach me like this? Like you mister bad ass or something? Boy I'll still beat yo ass" My dad said to my brother really rudely.

Ej laughed it off, "I suggest you leave before it be another murder scene"

Monster and his boys been on a killing spree since we been here and long as my sister have his baby in her stomach he will be killing mother fuckers nonstop if they even look at her wrong.

"Boy you funny! Let me in" My dad said sort of shoving his way passed the door way.

I watched him look around for a moment until his eyes landed on me. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Baby girl" He said smiling like everything was cool.

I physically rolled my eyes.

"Why are you here? You're not wanted" I said it in a sassy tone.

He chuckled, "Damn baby girl that nigga got you against ya dad to?"

"Nah you got me against you" I said in disgust cause I can't believe he honestly think that he didn't do anything wrong.

He was staring hard at me for the longest without saying anything until I heard the baby crying. I had forgot about Shawonda's kids. I hurried up to the living room before she fell off the couch or something.

Shawonda's oldest boy got to her before I could. He's very responsible for his age and he gone be fine when he gets older I can already see it.

"Let me see her so you can finish watching the movie" He quickly gave her to me and returned to the sofa eating popcorn like the others.

"All I know is you better get out this house before they get back" I heard my brother say to him as I started walking back to where they are standing.

"Or what nigga?" My dad said gripping his pockets and then continued "I got what they got we either gone get some understanding or it's gone be a murder scene like you said"

Seems like when shit goes right in my life it's always a wrong to come back and fuck it up. Shit like this make me wanna turn back to the streets and do what I gotta do to survive like my sister did. I wanna be like her.

We finally got the papers filled and dropped off, now we just gotta wait for everything to be confirmed. Skrilla wanted Laiden's last name to be changed to his and everything.
