Olivia Parsons POV

On the way home I couldn't stop thinking about what happened today at the beach. I honestly don't think I will ever see them again and that thought made me feel sad. I was so absorbed in my own little world that I almost ran over a few red stop lights. I need to focus before I get myself killed.

I got to my apartment and parked my car. I got out and walked to my door. I unlocked the door and went inside. I lived in a one bedroom apartment. To others it may seem small but it was comfy and perfect for me.

I lived by myself. I didn't have many friends except for my best friend Ally. We met in high school and been close ever since then. I guess you can say that I was a loner but I was fine being this way. I didn't need a lot of friends to make me feel happy. All I needed was someone who I could trust and not rely on a group of people who are only with me because I have something they want.

My parents were wealthy. Everyone was always trying to befriend me just because I came from a rich family. I was treated nicely but I could tell people were faking it just so they could get on my good side. I hated this. I just wanted to be treated as a normal person. My parents didn't help the situation either.

My parents were very strict. Being the only child was difficult. I could never make my parents happy. I tried getting good grades and being the perfect daughter but that was never enough. I knew that they never truly loved me or cared about me.

They wanted a son but instead they had me. I was a disgrace to them and they were disappointed.

After graduating high school I went to college far away from home. I decided to goto New York.
I graduated from college with a teaching degree and I haven't seen or heard from my parents since then.

Not wanting to think about my past I decided to head to bed and get some rest. I didn't want to put myself in a bad mood before my big day tomorrow.

I made my way to my bedroom and changed into some comfy clothes and head towards the kitchen afterwards to make some dinner. Not wanting to do much I decided to make pasta. I got out some pasta noodles, vegetables, and tomato sauce and began preparing my meal. Within an hour I was done. I sat down at my small dining table and began to eat.

After finishing and cleaning up I took a quick shower and got ready for bed. I finally finished and plopped myself onto my bed. I looked at the clock on my bedside table and it was already 8:00. Tomorrow was my first day as a teacher. I was excited and nervous because I don't know what to expect tomorrow. Will I be a good teacher? What if my students don't like me? What if I mess up?

Negative thoughts were flowing in my mind. I sighed and tried to think about something else. I know I'll be fine. I mean I love teaching and I love kids so everything will be alright. I know I can do this.

After reassuring myself, I began to doze off.

BEEP...BEEP...BEEP ...

I woke up and pressed the snooze button on my alarm clock. I glanced at the time and it was 6:00 AM. I smiled and stretched my body. I quickly got out of bed and started getting ready for the day. I did my morning routine and put some makeup on. I put on some mascara, blush, and lipgloss. I didn't need much anyways and plus I don't really know how to use makeup.

I curled my hair into soft waves and did a simple half up-do. Then I walked to my closet and picked out a cute outfit.

I glanced at the full body mirror and was happy with how I looked. I looked at the time and it was 7:30. I had to get to the school soon. I grabbed my purse along with my keys and phone. I quickly packed some left over pasta and made a simple salad for lunch.

After getting everything I needed I locked the door and headed towards the school. Within 15 minutes I was parked at the school's parking lot. I got out and grabbed my things and went to my classroom.

I reached room 20 and unlocked the door. I turned on the lights and went to my desk. I quickly prepped my notes and looked at the roll sheet. I had 25 students in my class.

The bell signaled that it was time for class to start. Students started piling in along with their parents giving them kisses and hugs and telling their kids to behave.

After everyone was seated I took role. Everyone was here except one student. Caleb Harrison was not here. That name sounds familiar. I disregarded it and continued to introduce myself to the class.

"Hello everyone welcome to kindergarten. I'm Ms. Jones and I will be your teacher. I'm so happy to be here. We will have a very fun time in this class and will spend a lot of time  getting to know each other. Today we will start off with an activity by introducing ourselves. Let's start at the front" I said pointing at a girl with cute blonde pig tails.

After 15 minutes of meeting everyone, the door opened and entered a boy with his dad. I looked towards them and it was Caleb from the beach and his father James.
