*Mel's POV*

One thing I hate about pregnancy, morning sickness. I was only about 2 months pregnant and I was already getting it as if I were 9!

Haley seemed to notice something was wrong. After having morning sickness for the third time that morning, I was brushing my teeth, getting the gross taste of throw up out of my mouth. I looked into the mirror to see the tiny girl standing in the bathroom doorway.

"Mommy, are you sick?" she asked. I spit into the sink and wiped my mouth.

"No baby. Mommy's okay." I told her.

"But you keep throwing up, mommy."

I dipped down to pick her up and sit her on the bathroom counter. This time, I'd tell her directly so she'd understand what I was saying.

"Haley, remember when I asked you if you wanted a little brother or sister?" I asked. She nodded, her little curls bouncing on her head. "Well, I asked that because mommy's having another baby."

Haley gasped and covered her mouth. I chuckled at her reaction.

"I'm gonna be a big sister!" she exclaimed.

"Quiet down, baby. There's people next door and these walls aren't the thickest, remember?" I said.

"Sorry mommy." she said. "Does daddy know?"

I sighed. I felt bad for not telling Spencer, but I wanted him to focus on the case at hand. Not for my own safety, but for Haley and him and the rest of the team. God only knows what would happen if I told him.

"Not yet." I told her. "But he will soon, okay?"

"When is soon, mommy?"

"When we go home. Now, let's go watch some TV, okay?"

I picked her up and brought her to the living room. I sat Haley on the couch and turned on the TV and began looking for something to watch.

"Do you know if it's a baby boy or a baby girl?" Haley asked. I looked at her over my shoulder.

"I don't know yet, honey. I'm only a few weeks. When we go home, I'll find out." I told her. "Hey, did me and daddy ever tell you what we were going to name you if you were a boy?"

Haley shook her head, her hair bouncing as she did so. I sat down and took the little girl onto my lap.

"We were going to name you Sammy Gideon Reid." I said. "Sammy was a young boy daddy helped once. We both helped his mommy when you were still in my belly. Gideon was after a man Uncle Hotch was friends with."

"What happened to them, mommy?" Haley asked, tilting her head.

I looked down at my lap. I knew Jason was still alive. He was living happily with his son, Steven, and his grand kids. But Sammy...he wasn't around anymore.

"Sammy is with David Rossi. You see, Sammy was not like you and I. He was born a little bit different. He did not talk much and when he did, it wasn't real sentences. But he was smart. He taught daddy how to play piano."

I wiped away some tears that were threatening to fall.

"When Sammy was born, his parents were told that he would be taken away by an angel when he was 10 because of what he had." I continued. "But once he made it past 10, they were hopeful. He was taken when he was 14."

Haley looked sad. She carefully wrapped her little arms around my neck and gave me a hug. I smiled and gave her a gentle squeeze.

"As for Gideon," I said, pulling her away. "he lives with his son and his grandchildren. He watches birds now. It was something he liked to do."

"But watching birds is boring." Haley said. I chuckled and kissed her cheek. "What if you have another baby girl? What are you going to name her?"

"Hm, I don't know. What do you want to name her?" I asked.

Haley carefully thought for a moment before exclaiming, "Elsa!"

I smiled. Elsa was Haley's favorite character from her favorite movie, Frozen. I'd have to remember to tell Spencer Haley's name suggestion after I told him I was pregnant.

"I think that sounds perfect." I told her. My phone began to ring. I set Haley down on the couch, where she began to watch TV. I got up and answered the phone with a cheery, "Hello."

"Hey, it's me." came Spencer's voice.

"Hey Reiders. What's up? Isn't it only early up there?" I asked, checking my watch.

"Yeah, but I think I have something and I need your help. I was just talking to your mom. She was meeting the person who hired her to kill you. She doesn't know much other than a name. Jason. Does that ring any bells?"

I bit the inside of my cheek, something I unconsciously did whenever I was thinking about something. I didn't know many Jasons, other than Jason Gideon. Unless-no. It couldn't be.

"I know someone. His name was Jason Hunter."

"Who's Jason Hunter."

"He-he's Justin's brother."
