Author note: Hello, everyone. This is my first D.C. Fanfic I hope you like it.
Enjoy. 😊My breath clouded the cool night air as I keep brisk pace.
"No, I'm going to miss it. It's probably already on." I rant to myself continuing to race against the clock.
'Had to wear heels didn't I.' I mentally lecture.
The water sparkled in the dusky moonlight.
Calm waves crashing under the my feet and the old plank bridge.
Everything was almost silent besides the crashing of the water.A distant siren caught my attention. Lightning cut through the sky, a crash thunder soon followed.
BOOM, I jumped out of my skin.
A huge mushroom cloud could be plainly seen.
I felt the blood drain from my face.
'Oh God, was that S.T.A.R labs.' I worried that the worst had happened.
A sudden surge of crimson energy plunged through me.
Throwing me into the clear, cold water below.Staring up into the foamy haze, I tried to bring my head above the waves.
Something hindered my ability to get free,
my lungs quickly filling with water.
Breathless and slowly sinking, everything went black.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Opening my eyes slowly, blinding light hindered my vision.
There was defining ringing in my ears as my head throbbed with every heartbeat.
Trying to breathe I coughed up mucus filled water.
Tasting bile I spat it out on the sand next to me, dazed I started to stand
Dizziness blurred my field of vision.
'What the hell happen?' I ponder staring to crawl my way towards the near by docs.Nothing felt right I couldn't feel my limbs though they were intact.
In fact there wasn't a scratch on me, but everything was numb and tingling.
Stepping up the ground gave way underneath my foot.
Slipping back down the bank I splashed into the water.
When I landed I couldn't tell where the water began and my body ended.
The only way of knowing was my ragged dresses in the water."What the actual fu..." I whispered to myself trying to get up.
My body went back the way it should, but still no feeling.
"Holy Shit.." I state louder than before.
Getting my bearings, I start to stand on wobbly legs looking for something to grab onto.
I reach for a deck rail, but my arm goes through it and I fall to the ground in a puddle.
Forming back into a person I try again and this time I slowly walked up a step.I kept going till I reached the top.
'Where to now?' I question myself worried.
"This all started after the explosion.
I will start there and look to were that leads me." I explain to myself still slightly dazed from this whole mess.
The scorching sun beat down on my
back.
Feeling like I was going to drop from heatstroke, I entered S.T.A.R. Labs.
Each step I took felt like a million,
"Hello?" I called my mouth feeling dry.
My head throbbed at the sound of my own voice.
I heard footsteps and someone saying something.
It felt as if I was back underwater, the ground suddenly rushed up to meet me.
Then only darkness.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Caitlin's point of view:
"Hello?" A faint voice called from down the hall.
"Hello, who's there?" I questioned turning the corner.
I saw a young woman, standing in the hall she looked quite ill.
"Miss? Are you ok, do you need a doctor?" I asked putting a gentle hand on her shoulder.
My hand fell right through her like water but, my hand wasn't wet.
Before I knew it she collapsed and splashed all over the ground.
She slowly began to regain shape and was completely whole again."Dr. Wells! Cisco, get over here please!
We may have a problem."
