It was really a working day, for this day they were tasked to condition themselves for playing. Trainers was giving them a hard time, each of them. The next task they were assigned was a bit harder than they thought. They were asked to be paired by 2. Kaia didn't know who to pair with, since she knows that Magui might pair with her friend, the unnamed blonde girl with a familiar face. So she concluded she might be paired with Gabbie.

That's when she thought wrong, Magui was paired with Gabbie, already heading to line up. She was left alone with no one, she didn't know who she would be pair to.

"Guess I'm stuck with you." Someone spoke from behind her. When she faced the one who spoke, she felt a bit excited but didn't want to show it.

"Guess it's really not my day today." She scoffed making the blonde girl in front of her, roll her eyes.

The coaches informed them that the next activity is to help them move quick, set the ball better and dig properly. The first girl will be seating down pushing the ball upwards while her partner would push the ball downwards.

Both of them did it faster than everyone and they were both pissing each other off, that's when Kaia pushed the ball harder making the blonde girl loose a hold of it, making the ball roll across the court then one of the trainers saw it, and punished them for not taking the activity seriously. They were to do 2 minute planking. Which they surprisingly both did, without any struggles. But when they were asked to do curl ups, that's when the two girls can't do it properly. Kaia was half way through but she kept on stopping, making everything not count. So the trainer asked the partner to kneel on the feet of Kaia and hold the knees together.

Kaia had a smirk on her face while doing the curl ups, while she felt the blonde girls cold hands placed on her knees. The girl looked away not wanting to have an eye contact with the dark haired girl, when their eyes would meet, Kaia's smirk will grow wider and the blonde girl would just roll her eyes.

Kaia was already done with her punishment so it was the blonde girl's turn. "So can you do it without any help?" The dark haired girl questioned.

The blonde girl got to her position and started counting. "7,8,9- don't need your help Kaia-10" She boasted, the dark haired felt herself blush at how the girl said her name, it just made her feel her insides go wild. After the blonde finished her punishment, they got up and immediately did what the others were doing.

Kaia kept on glancing on the blonde beau beside her, she really thought that the girl was beautiful and she seemed so focus and serious with volleyball. The dark haired girl also thought of introducing herself to the girl but it was really not on her comfort zone to talk first or make the first move.

"What you looking at Kaia?" The blonde girl caught Kaia staring at her. Which the dark haired girl felt embarrassed since she really don't even know why she was staring. She shook her head, bowed her head down not wanting the other girl to see that she lightly blushed cause of embarrassment.

When they were given a five minute break, this time Kaia didn't took her time, she quickly ran to the bleachers and drink water. She was still seated on the same bleachers before, also Magui sat in front of her with the blonde unnamed girl.

Magui has again this joyful aura, she always has this good vibes on her. "So Kaia, do you enjoy being paired with Analain?" Magui asked making Kaia confused since she didn't know who she was talking about and it's her first time hearing that enticing name but she immediately realized that she was talking about the blonde girl since she was paired with her.

Instead of answering the question, Kaia smirked and decided to nag the blonde girl. "Analain? It was fine."

The blonde girl was surprised hearing her name for the first time from the dark haired girl. She turned at them and gave the two girls a glare. Kaia thought that she's loving the banter.
