Hello again! I hoped you liked the previous chap. You see I will continue my story only for my really good friend Mary! So this is for you sweetie!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday it was the BIG day! I woke up full of excitement. I got out of my bed and putted my clothes on. Furthermore I putted my makeup on and brushed my hair quickly. It was 11:55 and I had to be there at 12:00!! I locked the door and left the house. I was so nervous and I couldn’t stop smiling. I couldn’t believe that I was going to audition for my favorite TV show.
I parked my car right outside the big studio. I walked inside. A young security man came towards me.
“Good morning miss! May I help you?” he asked.
“Oh yes please! I am looking for the theater where the glee auditions are taking place.” I said and hoped that he would help me find it.
“Please follow me!” he said and led me towards a big black door. “Here you are, miss!”
“Thank you!” I answered and smiled. I entered the theater. I quickly recognized which theater it was. It was the Glee Theater where all the music performances where taking place. I went straight backstage to get ready and feel prepared.
“Mary!” a familiar voice said behind me. I turned my back at faced Cory. “I am so glad you decided to come!”
“Yeah! Me too!” I replied and smiled.
“I am sure you are gonna smash it up there!” he said. I saw a girl coming towards Cory.
“Hey silly! Where have you been?” she said and hugged him. She turned her face and I finally recognized her. It was Zoe. Zoe was one of my very good friends but I lost contact with her because she left our school when she was 16 and come here to become a stylish and a model. I was so surprised to see her here.
“Μαρία; (Mary?)” she said.
“Hey Zoe!” I answered and hugged her.
“You two ….know each other?” Cory asked.
“Of course we do!” Zoe replied and smiled widely. “I can’t believe it!” she added.
“Ok… good luck! See on stage!” Cory said , winked and left.
“What are you doing here?” I asked Zoe.
“Well I am Cory’s best friend and I wanted to see the auditions so I asked him to let me come with him and he said ok.”
“You are what? Really?” I asked and my eyes went wide.
“Yes! He is a great kid!” she answered. “Are you going to audition?” she asked.
“I am!” I said proudly.
“Great! See you up there! Good luck honey!” Zoe said , hugged me and kissed me on the cheek. “We’ll talk later!”
It was my turn! I got up on stage and saw Ryan Murphy- Brad Falchuk- Ian Brennan – Lea Michele - Cory and Zoe (she was not one of the judges) staring at me.
“Hello Mary!” Brad said.
“Hey!” I answered and smiled.
“Tell us something about!” Ryan said.
“Well I’ve always loved music and I can sing pretty well.” I replied.
“Why are you here today?” Ian asked. “I mean why are you going to audition for the “Glee”?”
“Because I love glee and I would do anything to succeeded getting into the glee cast.” I said happily. Lea smiled.
“Which song are you going to sing, dear?” she asked.
“I am going to sing “Don’t rain on my parade.”” I said.
“Wow! That’s a really good choise!” Lea replied.
“Thank you!” I said and started.
*Song*
Don't tell me not to live,
Just sit and putter,
Lifes candy and the suns
A ball of butter.
Don't bring around a cloud
To rain on my parade.
Don't tell me not to fly--
Ive simply got to.
If someone takes a spill,
Its me and not you.
Who told you you're allowed
To rain on my parade!
Ill march my band out,
Ill beat my drum,
And if Im fanned out,
Your turn at bat, sir.
At least I didn't fake it.
Hat, sir, I guess I didn't make it!
But whether Im the rose
Of sheer perfection,
Or freckle on the nose
Of lifes complexion,
The cinder or the shiny apple of it's eye,
I gotta fly once,
I gotta try once,
Only can die once, right, sir?
Ooh, love is juicy,
Juicy, and you see
I gotta have my bite, sir!
Get ready for me, love,
Cause Im a comer,
I simply gotta march,
My hearts a drummer.
Don't bring around a cloud
To rain on my parade!
Im gonna live and live now,
Get what I want--i know how,
One roll for the whole shebang,
One throw, that bell will go clang,
Eye on the target--and wham--
One shot, one gun shot, and bam--
Hey, mister arnstein, here I am!
Ill march my band out,
I will beat my drum,
And if Im fanned out,
Your turn at bat, sir,
At least I didn't fake it.
Hat, sir, I guess I didn't make it.
Get ready for me, love,
Cause Im a comer,
I simply gotta march,
My hearts a drummer.
Nobody, no, nobody
Is gonna rain on my parade!
*Song ends here*
I noticed that all of them were shocked. They didn’t say anything for a few seconds.
“Thank you!” they all
