but I still miss you

time is so cruel

*******

hoseok loved all of his old photos so much. he always brought it anywhere with him, and took it out whenever he felt like he needed some motivation, and sometimes, a good laugh.

he had it all, their recent photos, photos from every era of their promotions, photos of their pre-debut days, sad photos, happy photos, weird photos, those kind of photos that made him wonder why it even existed. yoongi called him 'memories dumpster', but he didnt bother to care. he kinda felt like it was a compliment, actually, because whenever his members were boasting about something in the past that no one could even remember, he could joke, "no, no my friend, you're not" while shoving a photo as a fact and then he and his members would get a day worth of laugh because of that.

or vice versa, he could randomly share pictures from their old difficult days, while he said, "we've gone through a lot of things, do you think we can't get pass this?", whenever they had a problem, or whenever someone needed some motivation.

or just whenever he felt like it.

he loved to take a trip down memory lane by scrolling down his photos collection and heard comments such as, "i love those times," or "i miss those times," which was followed by, "not that I don't like how it is nowadays, of course," out of guilt, and hoseok understood. even when he heard someone jokingly said, "i hate those times," he totally understood.

how could he not?

those times were theirs, the happy ones, the sad ones, the funny ones, and even struggles, the tears, the sweat, and the pain. those photos were kept to prick his mind, to remind them from the place they all came from.

they were bound to miss those moments, no matter how hard it was, because it was theirs, exclusively theirs and no one could take it from them.

time was always so cruel, to leave them with so many things he loved but he couldn't touch.
