Falling for you

Chapter 11

So lets recap the situation...

I am now at my girlfriends house who had been of school for almost three weeks as her gran died. I am at her house with her mum and grandpa wanting in the room both me and her in. They have no clue im daiting her and it would come as a bit of a shock as i am her teacher,

"Jennifer Jane Mcarthur you open this door right now!"her mum said sternly thorugh the door 'what do we do?' Jen mouthed to me and i shrugged 'open the door!' i mouthed and she looked at me as if i was crazy,

we need to take a chance, be brave and all that nonsense. Her mum wont hurt her daughter by breaking us up would she? im not to sure either but i have a hopefull side in the fact she wont.

'my mums a lawyer, criminal law anything could happen!' she whispered to me and i gulped, wasnt expecting her to be a lawyer. I nodded 'open it!' i mouthed, she shook her head and we both stood up. As she slowly opened the door all the times ive spent with Jennifer and i couldnt help but smile but it fadded when her mum and grandpa stormed in the room.

Her mum just looked at me emptionless and her grandpa looked confused. My heart rate was racing and my palms were sweating like nothing on earth, im surprised i didnt faint with it all. Her mum just looked between us both before seatiling her eyes on Jennifer,

"why si you math teacher here?" she asked and her grandpa looked shocked "math teacher?" he asked but no one moved. jen looked up at me worried,

Could we lie our way out of this by saying i was droping of her homework, Mrs nelson came to the door with it but they wont know but that wouldnt explain why i was up in her room or i could say i was in her room to get her homework she didnt hand in and she invited me up while she got it,

Whats the point, we could say a million lies here but thats all they would be, lies and lies. Im sick of covering up my tacks. I love Jen to pieces and sometimes i just cant hide that and i need to tell people.

I gave a swift nod to her and she nodded "mum this is my girlfriend Vics!" she said pointing to me and her mum looked at me "your girlfriend?" she asked sternyl and both parents looked shocked "when did this happen?" her grandpa asked and Jen smiled again a genuine smile, which took both parents of guard "around seven months!" jennifer said proudly and i smiled,

 Her mum nodded slowly, she was scaring me slightly infact no i was terrified."it explains afew things!" her mum finally said and we all looked at her even Jens grandpa "what things?" Jen asked and her mum looked at us " the glances you made at each other on parents evening, the sudden happiness, why you gave up smoking yes i knew about that and im very dissappointed in you and afew other things!" she said and Jen nodded,

"sorry about smoking!" she said and her mum nodded "right im starving lets go down for some lunch!" she said and left with her grandpa "is that it?" i asked "its not even started, you forgot my mums a lawyer!" she said and took my hand and we walked downstairs.

I sat beside Jen on the couch as her grandpa sat on a single couch chair while her mum made sandwhiches for us. "how was Glasgow?" Jen asked her grandpa and he smiled "your trying to change the subject?" he whispered with a smile and she nodded,

"how could you tell?" she asked and he laughed a bit "look im fine with it you just have to prove the lawyer, make your case!" he said in a funny voice and she nodded. Her mum came through with a big plate full of sandwhiches.

We all took one and her mum sat next to her grandpa in another single couch. She faced us as she ate and i was feeling slightly uncomfortable. "so then, how did this all start?" her mum asked and she had totally changed into a different person, i guess lawyer mode.
