Chapter 13

My final gold expedition was tiring. I found out why i didnt share a tent with Ash, she snores very,very loudly and it made me cranky in the mornings so much i almost threw coffee of her as she was way to cheery which isnt like her.

I got blisters from the boots i have worn from the practise run which were fine then but i got blisters this time round, surely its suppose to be the other way around.So i was mainly cranky everymorning and had loads of blisters on my feet due to a bear and shoes that were already broken in but delayed the pain.

I had seen Vics every weekend and we either went out somehwere for the day or we spent it at her house watching movies and laughing to hard at the funnies. I was glad graduation was soon as i wanted so bad to go on a walk with her and have our hands in each others and have my arms wrapped around her making the world know she's mine and im the only one that will have her, ive wanted to do that for so long now it hurts.

I havnt heard much on the situation between my brother and Derek or Mr Jones. He seems happy when i see him and he never talks about him when i see him and whenever we talk we never have long enough due to rush of exams and studying another thing to be cheery about.

It was now the week of my birthday. I was born on the thriteeth of June and Ash on the sixteenth and we were going out for diner as it was our eigteenth. All our families were going and we were going to Scotts, i got the night off Ash wasnt working lucky duck.

It was the day before my birthday and as the school bumps everyone up in May technically im no longer a student but we havnt had graduation yet so i still am. I was now in my guidence teachers office, Mrs Nelson with Ash who was here for moral support as i had, had word back from Strathclyde University, one i had applied for and was my number one.

"oh i have this for you!" Mrs nelson said giving a white envelope to Ash and she looked at it shocked, she turned to me and pointed to the logo that said 'Glasgow Veteniry College'. It was the one she wanted to get into and had minimal places "open it!" i said and she rolled her eyes,

"well you open the big brown!" she said indicating to the A4 size brown letter with my name on it and StarthClyde University logo printed on the front for all to see."fine im not a wimp!" i said and Mrs Nelson laughed  abit "you stared at it for ten minutes!" she siad and i rolled my eyes.

I took a deap breath and tore it open as if i was taking of a plaster. I took the letter out and there was an application form by the looks of it. I looked at the main letter and i had to read it afew times to understand what was being said,

"could you explain!" i said to Mrs Nelson and she sighed and took it from me. She looked shocked and i dont know if that was a good thing or a bad thing "they want you to apply for a schoolarship!" she said looking at the letter and i nodded,

"but if i do and dont get it does this mean i loose my oppertunity or do i still have it?" i asked hoping i hadnt lost it. It was the university my mum had went to and afew others things as well as that made me want to be there,

Mrs Nelson nodded"yes they just think you have a chance but if you dont get the schoolarship you still have a slot!" she said proudly and i smile d"okay your turn!" i said and fangirled "im going toi uni!" i cheered and Ash shook her head "im so not your friend!" she said and i laughed.

Now before i say anymore i would like to elaberate on my other friends prosp[ects. Char wants to be a musician and had word yesterday she has got into a Glasgow school of art under music and was pleased with herself.

Rach wants to be a leading film director and has been accepted into SAE a creative media school where she is a film major she found out almost a month ago and it got to me and Ash and up until three days ago i was fine until i realised i had until September until i would have to start uni and i was getting worried.
