Joshua touched down in North America from Cuba and went straight to the jail Absolam was held in.
"Absolam Anderson" The woman nodded entering the name in the computer system.
A few minutes later, two guards walked the young male out, both holding one of his arms.
Absolam stared Josh in the face with one of stone. His eyes searched the unknown foreign man in an expensive suit in front of him as they uncuffed his wrist.
"This ones a little unpredictable" The officer informed. "He thinks he's a tough guy, been in solitude since he was brought in. The other inmates tried to punk him and one ended with a gash across the neck"
"On the first day?"
The accent hit Absolam's ears causing his brows to twitch in.
"In the first hour he was released to population"
Josh nodded and gestured that they leave them be. Both men took a seat on the opposite side of the table. Josh took in his face not really seeing a resemblance with Ghana. This man was darker than cherry with black curly hair that almost blended in with his complexion. He reminded Joshua of a tribe of people in Africa whose language was only understood by them. He must have taken after his father and Ghana took the mixture from a dark father and a high yellow mother.
"Hello, my name is Joshua Abubakar. I know your sister Ghana. She asked for me to get you out of prison"
"I have a lawyer" Absolam stated with a slight shake of his head.
"That's good. But you don't need a lawyer for what I can do for you" Joshua stated peeking the other man's interest.
"I can have the law protecting you. If you come work for me. Absolam I was the one who told the law to pick you up. Your product was dishing through my boss streets and do you know who my boss is? The king of Nigeria. He's a very particular man. If I hadn't put you away, he would have you killed. Do you understand?"
Absolam nodded with furrowed eyebrows.
"Ghana is someone who is special to me. Because you are her brother I want to up you in the game. I'm not going to pull you out. I know once you're in no other job can replace it"
Absolam looked around to the four corners of the room where police stood. None had said a word and the man was literally confessing to being high ranked in the drug game.
Josh laughed at the action. "Oh you think a multi-billion dollar business is untouched by the law? Half of the government's war finances is funded from drugs. Their weaponry, their machines and vehicles are all from drug illegal tender. If you are a genius in this game, even as a young black man, they will come to you and make a bargain with you first. If you accept the bargain, you are protected. The police force began to protect the rich's property. When they protect those in the drug game turning thousands into millions and millions into billions, they are doing what? Protecting the rich's property. But if you don't, you are a notorious drug dealer who is a menace to society and receives forty years in prison"
"What bargain?"
"The king had to make one. I only work for him"
Absolam licked his lips and leaned forward on the table. "So you're telling me you have the power to walk me out of this jail right now if I accept to working for you?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying. Not only work for me but the measly twenty million you were making before will increase by ten fold. Absolam this is a world wide business. A business ran by old white men in suits who are worth billions and even trillions. You don't have to be a number in the system just so they can keep you as a slave. They need young black men who only play a small player in this game. You're free labor in this enterprise they call prison. They need someone to blame.... I can bring you above the law"
