Coming to my senses, I slowly opened my eyes to the ceiling painted a light grey. Looking around as much as I could without getting up as it was painful to move. I looked to my right seeing a white finished bladed closet and nightstand, looking to the left I saw another nightstand that had a clock sitting on it that read 0500. Hearing a door creak open I attempted to sit up immediately groaning as I did. I saw a tall man come to my side; I looked into his mesmerizing hazel eyes to my tormented mud brown ones. He had a worried look on his face but one also looked extremely tired as well as hurt. The man said to me,
"I'm Just Going To Sit You Up, Alright" In a thick German accent
He gently placed his big but soft hands under me and carefully sat me up against the headboard to look at me with weary eyes. I heard another set of footsteps come from out the room to our way, which made me snap my head towards that direction in not only fright but also wordiness that it might be Fedir and whoever this man was, might just be some of Fedir's paid lookouts to keep me here until he arrived. The second set of footsteps came into the room relieving me greatly that it wasn't Fedir. The man who came in before gave the man a look before leaving; I could hear the front door shut a diesel engine start before slowly fading away. I looked at the man before as he set some things on the foot of the bed.
"My names Max "said the man in a calm tone, one that I was not used to at all, "What's Your Name?
Hesitantly Answering I said,
"Agata"
It Was Getting Dark And Kontra Could Tell I Was Growing Tired And Naturally Assumed I Barely Got Any Sleep By The Looks Of My Bruises. Kontra Slowly Walked In Which Startled Me A Little, But He Assured Me He Wasn't Going To Hurt Me Before Continuing To Walk To His Dresser That Was Near The Bed And Pulled The Top Drawer Out To Grab A Black Shirt That Had White Lettering On It That Said "KONTRA" He Turned Around To Cautiously Hold The Folded Shirt Out For Me To Take.
I Took The Shirt As Kontra Left So I Could Change, The Shirt Stopped At My Mid-Thighs. I Slowly Climbed Back Onto The Bed After Leaving My Old Rugged Worn Clothes In The Bathroom. Kontra Looked Through The Small Crack Between The Door And The Door Frame To See Me Fast Asleep, He Quietly Opened The Door To Walk Over To The Side Of The Bed I Was On And Covered Me With The Warm Blankets Before Shutting The Lights Off And Closing The Door But Left A Little Crack To Hear Me If I Needed Anything.Becoming midnight I had just fallen into a deep sleep one I hadn't gone into in a while, it felt good my body started to relax in comfort. I soon started to stir in the bed profusely sweating with my heart racing as I began to mumble "no...no...no" multiple times. Meanwhile Kontra was laying on the uncomfortable couch with one of his legs up on the back of it, an arm dangling to the floor and since he had long arms his hand lightly brushed the floor and his other leg resting on the armrest. Hearing faint noises he sat up waiting for the noise to come again but to really just see if it was his mind playing tricks on him since it was so late, it was not.
Deciding to check it out Kontra pulled the blanket off of him and stood up setting his feet on the cold hard-wood floor and started walking towards the noise, which was coming from the bedroom that Agata was sleeping in. Peering into the crack to check on her he noticed the sheets all twisted and sprawled all over the place and saw me violently moving and knew I was having a nightmare or something.
Coming closer to the bed, Kontra noticed bruises on her arms and stomach as the shirt he gave her to sleep in went up when she squirmed on the bed, he saw that she was sweating and quickly but carefully picked me up to hold me Bridal Style, as he sat on the edge of the bed. In the matter of quick thinking, he began to lightly rub small gentle circles with his thumb on my arm as he whispered calming things to me.
Holding Him Close To My Body, I Could Feel His Warmth Radiate off Him. Warming My Cold Body That Had Been Bruised From Fedir. I Didn't Think I'd Be In With Any Man Since I Ran from Fedir. He Was Different Though, Even With His Tough Strong Exterior He Was Gentle With Me, Unlike Other Men Who'd If They Found Me They'd Probably Just Rape Me And Then Leave Me For Someone Else.
