Chapter 21

Olivia's pov

It's doomsday. i have a feeling in my gut.  this is gonna be my worst birthday yet. I decided to get dressed into my lucky skinny jeans, and my lucky blue Aeropostale shirt, and went to get breakfast. I left my room to find the doctor.
     "whats up?" I asked as I saw his face with confusion on it.
    
      "just wondering how the tardis could have gotten from one side of the universe to the other without even touching the controls."he replied

      "what how is that possible?are you sure you didn't fall asleep on the controls and pressed a button or something?"
 
        "yes! I am sure. you wanna go out there and see what it is?"

        "yeah, sure, but if you don't mind I am gonna go, and see if she wants to come too."

        "okay." I left and I literally ran into brooklyn. I explained to her about what happened with the tardis. of course, she said yes. we went outside of the tardis where the doctor was waiting.

       "we have to leave now"said the doctor.

       "why? what's wrong with here?"i asked

       "I know the owners and they dont really like me." i looked around to see no one around in the cold metal hallways. Including brook.

       "well we can't leave without brook!"

       "what do you mean without brook?shes right behind you! okay she was right behind you.you go wait in the tardis and I will find brook."

       "no!she's my friend we both go or just me your choice."

       "fine we will go together."silence stung our ears until the doctor started to talk.

       "what will you do if the owners of the ship have her?"he asked.

        "well if they took her for pizza or something like that then nothing but I have a feeling it wouldn't be something like that so I would I will become their worst nightmare if they survive."I replied.

         "you know I kinda like this part of you, but at the same time it's really scaring me"

         "yeah well you don't want to get on my bad side, or see me when I am mad"

         "your not mad?"

         "no not unless I find out they hurt her then they better watch out."some one from behind put their hand on me and the doctor. I grabbed the wrist of the hand that was on me. I twisted it behind their back evenly between their shoulder blades.it turned out only to be brook

        "sorry about that."i apologized to her.i then hit her

        "ow what was that for?"she asked

        "for scaring me like that! I thought some alien must have got you or something."we started walking when we saw a pepper shaker. it had a plunger on one side of the front of him and a egg beater on the other half. it said something but I didnt quite catch it. next thing I knew is we started following the pepper shaker.

         "why do you want us?"asked the doctor.

          "you are the oncoming storm. you are a threat."said the pepper shaker.

          "what about them they are but human. at least let them go."

           "we can not the one beside you is a threat. "we were silent for a minute. i was the one standing beside the doctor.  how was I a threat?

         "how?"asked the doctor

         "she is feared by many." answered the pepper shaker.

        "first of all that didnt answer my question and by who humans or daleks?"

        "you will soon find out how and she is feared by both. " another, what I assumed was a dalek, entered the room. each one raised their egg beaters. a blue laser like light came from it. when brook saw it she used the floor as a spring board and jumped in front of us just in time to get hit by them. one in the arm and the other in the leg. the daleks had left before they saw her jump in front of us.

           "she only has 15 minutes left to live because..." he said before I interrupted

          "it hit a blood vessel and with their technology it doesnt stay in one spot it travels to the biggest source of life which happens to be the heart but she wont die until they are both their because her body know she got hit with 2 instead of 1 which means it doesnt effect it as much but it is still painful. "I finished for him.

          " I will go get tardis and make it materialize around you. just stay with brook." when he left I went to the control panel to make it self destruct.  I was successful in making the count down start. the tardis materialized around us when I got over to brook. I had about 5 minutes left with brook

           "why did you do that?"I asked brook.

           "because its my time to go. the world still needs you guys."she replied with.

           "well the world could wait I need you brook. your my best friend. you should have let me die."

          "I couldnt do that""and I cant live with the guilt that I could have saved you."

           "you know I  never believed you when you said you had bad luck on your birthday.  I do now"

             "maybe it got passed onto you."

            "take care of the other time lord time lord."

             "im not a time lord"

             "haha I have something on my bed for you."she chuckled lightly while closing her eyes.

             "Brooklyn wake up. dont do that . brook wake up" I said while balling my eyes out.

              "gingi I think shes dead"the doctor said lightly letting me down

               "I know you idiot! im just saying this because I dont want it to be true."

     "Calm down!" he stated.

     "Don't tell me to calm down! I could have saved by best friend. I was the one supposed to be dead. Not her! She didnt do anything!" I ran to brooks room to read the letter she left before the doctor could say anything else. it went like this.

dear olivia

if you are reading this that means I have died on one of our adventures. I would like you to know that all  the times you thought me and amy were up to something we were. we were trying to get you and the doctor together. you both deserve happiness. you both have been through a lot, I want to thank you for being my friend in grade 7. I still remember how we became friends. it was a day in ms sommers class. there were no seats left so you sat beside me. we started talking and we realized we had a lot in common. one day we just satrted hanging out. the first time we met though was in grade 6. we were both alone. we started talking about colleges and stuff like that outside. anyways tell the doctor I said thanks to him too. I have instuctions I want you to do. first put gloves on and lay me on my mothers door step. two show this letter to the doctor and three do any thing and everything in your power  to get one of my books published. 4 this one is for me and amy.  eventually try to have a relationship out thats more than just friends. I wanted most of all to give the 2  last time lords a proper good bye.

p.s olivia dont try to deny that your a time lord.

I sat there staring at the letter as tears stung my eyes. I dragged her into this this is all my fault, and there is nothing I can do about it now. With my vision blurry from tears i saw a blob enter the room. I assumed it was the doctor. He sat beside me and engulfed me in a hug to comfort me. And for once, i didnt mind. I sunk into his chest as i cried.
